Worth it to look for it!

We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor! I used my ipad to find it and it was worth it. We made a reservation but it was not necessary on a Wednesday night. It is small so keep time and day in mind. The staff was nice and helpful. I had cheese enchiladas, my daughter had quesadillas, and my husband... read more

This restaurant was not as good as the reviews. Maybe we caught it on a bad day. Service was average slow and uncaring. Good was bland.

My son and I stopped in Fort Stockton, TX on the second night of a cross country drive from California to Florida. Having never heard of Fort Stockton, we did not know what to expect. We wanted authentic Mexican cuisine for dinner and followed the recommendation on TripAdvisor to Mi Casita. Our meal was well beyond our expectations. We both... More

When traveling cross country in the desert world of fast food chains, it is always great to have a respite at a local family owned restaurant. My son used Trip Advisor to look for said oasis and found Mi Casita in Ft Stockton. It lived up to the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. Service good, people warm and friendly, atmosphere... More

When ever we pass through Ft. Stockton, we have always stopped as we considered this our favorite TexMex restaurant. We got there during the lunch rush and were prepared for a usual long wait. We were quite surprised, no wait and a half full room. Guess the locals have recognized a change as well. Our initial reaction was that the... More

Arrived right at closing time...they welcomed us with genuine open arms and impeccable service. We got the basics (quesadillas, guacamole, etc). Salsa and chips were excellent. Will definitely return if ever in the middle of nowhere again! Nice place.

This place is a little gem that is hidden in Fort Stockton. The food is great - very authentic. Nice chips and salsa to start. Great menu selections and very reasonable. I had the fajita plate, and it was excellent. Not the standard sizzling platter, but rather everything cooked (and plenty hot) when served at the table. The pico de... More

Pretty good Mexican food. Burritos and quesadillas were average. Chicken tacos were good. Salsa was excellent. Not cheap, but nothing is cheap in this remote town.

Very tasty TexMex food. This is a family run business. Lots of locals make this a regular stop. No beer or wine are served. You are welcome to bring your own.

Good Tex-Mex at an inexpensive price. Not a fancy restaurant at all and the food's not gourmet but the service has been first class. Very good value for the money.
