Great bbq

Very authentic and good. Real, down-home east Texas bbq. Nice, hole-in-the-wall atmosphere can't be beat.

I love this place, I always have the pulled pork nachos....yum. They used to have some sort of potato patty appetizer but did not see it this time around, friendly staff, good service, casual atmosphere. The white dust parking lot is a pain. There is a shop of sorts as you exit the opposite side that you park and the... More

I just went here a couple of weeks ago with some friends and I tried the turkey BBQ sandwich and corn on the cob and onion rings. Best onion rings I have had in a long while, they give you a huge basket and they were very freshly made. I couldn't put enough BBQ on my sandwich, it is delicious.... More

Dusty parking lot --- hot day --- expected little. Great BBQ sandwich with cole slaw --- and great sauce. What a treat. Place is undergoing rehab, and several other visitors claimed rest of menu was equally stellar --- supposedly great catfish as well as chicken fried steaks. Will definitely return -- probably for the CFS.

This is the worst bbq place I have ever been too. Food was aweful. The queso and chips was tositos nacho sauce heated and served in styrofoam bowl with stale chips. My wife and I are still recovering from the dry bbq two days later. The staff couldnt care less.

This was a very interesting experience of eateries. I had the pork pie dinner. It was pletiful and good. Their menu offers many varieties of food and drink. It is a real good place for families and couples.

I have been here several times and in the past this had been a great place. I am sad to report a lot has changed. They have removed a few food items off the menu. The wait staff though semi friendly is the slowest I have ever seen and it is not busy. The food is way below average portion... More

I moved to the area more than 8 years ago. At that time this was one of the better BBQ places around. It was a nice place to go way out on Hwy 155. Over the years it just started hiring some really "Care Less) type people. And that is when the food started to taste like they could care... More

We started with fried jalapeño as app. Yummy!! My husband got the Cow pie which has your choice of meat (cow being the beef). It is fritos topped with beans, nacho cheese sauce, coleslaw & meat. Absolutely delicious!! I got BBQ nachos with pork, which was absolutely delicious also! Customer service was great! Awesome prices. We got all the above... More

I have been here a few times, and the food is always good. I like that I don't have to eat Bar-be-que every time I visit. The prices are decent, and the food is fresh. It's a fun place to meet up with friends or host a group.
