This place opened up a few years ago and I've managed to stay away from it until Christmas Eve. We arrived early with an incomplete party. They seated us right away to wait for the others. Our waiter came by, introduced himself and brought menus. By the time he returned, about 20 min later, the rest of my party was... More

If you decide to go here beware. The service is poor. The wait staff is not friendly, not properly trained of just don't seem to care. We will never be going to this location again. I have been told by numerous locals that the Papaduex in Dallas is much better, so we will give that one a try soon. We... More

Always satisfied at Pappadeaux! Was here recently to celebrate a family member's bday so we were a large party. The staff was friendly and worked quickly to meet all of our needs. I enjoyed my Grilled Mahi w/Alexander sauce...yum...my favorite.

I've been to Pappadeaux three times. Service and food are excellent and staff very friendly. Everything I have eaten was cooked to perfection. Oysters, Lobster, fish, side dishes...all had the same care and wonderful tastes. Melt in your mouth seafood.

I have eaten food in every state in the U.S.. I have eaten in some of the best and worst. I also love good cajun food. For the cost of our meal, I expected MUCH better food and service. I think the people from this area are so used to crappy deep fried foods that their taste buds are fried... More

Quality Fresh Sea Food & Excellent Service! Our server Jonathan was superb, very knowledgeable & accommodating. I wanted some yummy Crawfish, so got it both ettoufee & fried, & also some fried Oysters. The green beans that came were fresh & nice too. Hubby ordered ginger Salmon that was fresh & tasty too. We came starved & left so satisfied.... More

We had eaten at Pappadeaux's in Austin a couple of years ago and when I found one was close to the Hotel we were staying in, we had to go back. Service was great, even though it was a Friday night and it was packed. I had tilapia with a loaded baked potato and both were great. I think the... More

You cannot go wrong with the alligator appetizer and wash it down with a signature drink called the swamp thing. Pappadeaux serves up your standard fried seafood dishes, the environment is fun and friendly. The service can be lacking/inconsistent at this location. So if your in the desoto/duncanville area looking for decent seafood Pappadeaux is probably your best option.
