We were there at a quiet time. It was Saturday a dinner time and there were about 6 people there. Food and service were good.

We were in town for the weekend and came in to watch a UFC fight in the sports bar. We ordered some food from the Kitchen and it was VERY good. We each ordered a different specialty cocktails and shared and we were very impressed with them. The hosts & servers were all friendly and efficient. The free WiFi was... More

The restaurant was conveniently located across the roadway from our hotel. The restaurant was recommended by the hotel clerk. We were seated quickly and did not have to wait on service. Our server was nice and cheerful and made several recommendations. The food served is of the diner type. We settled for chicken fried steak. The dinner rolls were to... More

Fun menu with everything from chicken fried steak to steak and lots of down home cooking. Knowledgeable wait staff, quick service. Nice place for dinner.

This is not a chain type roadhouse, but more the old fashion true Texas roadhouse. We were quickly seated in the quieter part of the restaurant. Our waitress, Shiloh, took good care of us through the entire meal. However, Natalie stole the show with my two grandboys. By the end of the meal, she had them both convinced to go... More

I like the variation of food from steaks to fish. Baked sweet potato verses regular potato. We take our out of town visitors here because of the choices. Plus there is alcohol if you sit in the lounge area.

If you want a good meal for a great price this is your place. Not a fancy place but the kind of restaurant you can sit down and enjoy a comfortable meal. I eat here a few times a year and have never been disappointed.

Dumas is a small to mid size Texas town. We are the closest big thing to Amarillo. So, if you want a very good meal at decent prices, 287 Roadhouse is very good. We enjoy it every time we eat there. The steaks are always done to order. The selection is very nice. I pretty much have the top selection... More

This place has typical roadhouse fare. I had the chicken fried steak, which was huge, but tasty. My wife had the sirloin, which was average. The beer was cold, but the draft selection was pretty limited to standard domestic pours, save Ziegenbock, which is an AB imitation craft beer only available in Texas. The mixed drink my wife ordered was... More
