Very good food in a casual atmosphere.

The restaurant is divided into two eating areas, dining room and bar. The food is the same, but the bar has TVs. Large menu of both food and beverages. The pricing is moderate; the dress is casual. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious and large. My husband had the 287 burger... read more

Decided to stop in Dumas to eat and jump on the loop instead of driving through Amarillo and killing an hour. Wish we had kept driving... There were flies everywhere and there was a hair in my salad. The chicken fried steak was so-so once it came out. Took the waitress forever to take our drink orders, come back and... More

After a 10 hour drive to Dumas for the Babe Ruth regional baseball tournament, we were famished. I checked trip advisor, and we chose 287 based on the ratings. We had a large party of players and parents. We were seated quickly and all of us together. From burgers, to Philly cheesesteak, to steak and pizza no one left hungry... More

We have been to 287 many times and have always gotten excellent food and great service. We have also ordered food delivered from 287 and it has always been a very good experience for us. The weekend food specials are usually our choice for our meal and they are always delicious.

We got into Dumas after a long drive from Colorado. Wanted to order out, so checked Pizza hut reviews - awful! We had heard how great the food was at the 287 Roadhouse, so called on the off-chance that they deliver. And they DO! They add 20% to your ticket for delivery, so that isn't much --- we gave the... Dumas does not have many good eating places. The food here was good. Their rolls were so delicious!! The waitress was not very attentive but overall good place to eat. Everyone enjoyed their food after a long day in the car. Would stop again if driving through.

We ate here a couple of years ago when traveling on our way to Colorado. We split the chicken fried steak ( it covers the whole plate!) and was very good but the rolls stole the show! Would definitely recommend.

Food was outstanding! Service was good. All for a price you'd expect to pay for this. Would definitely eat here again.

It gets hot and bright in Dumas. Not much to do there. First impression is that its cool in there and dark. Actually nice change from the outdoors. Food is good, reasonably priced. You can come in and just have drinks at the bar. A good place to pass the time.
