Beautiful restaurant about a 45-minute scenic drive outside Austin. It is co-located with the Duchman Winery, where you can do tastings. The restaurant looks like an old Tuscan building, and the menu has traditional Italian as well as non-traditional dishes. We've never had anything there that wasn't wonderful. We go twice a year. It can get pricey. Count on at... More

There are some meals in life that you'll never forget and this is one of them. It's amazing that the best Italian food I've ever had is in Driftwood. The antipasto sampler's selection of house cured prosciutto and cheese was a revelation; if you get nothing else try this. I also had the Osso Buco(bone marrow was delicious), the wife... More

We went here last weekend for my birthday. There were three of us and everything was perfect. I had asked for a window table and got one with a great view. We went with a traditional Italian meal with several courses and everyone was pleased with everything they had. We did start out with a shared Antipasti which the menus... More

My favorite restaurant in the area. Food and service are consistently exceptional. My husband and I went there for New Years's Eve dinner. There was a mixup about our reservation, but the hostess quickly arranged another table for us. Freshly made pasta in the the lasagna makes this a special treat. The dinner salad is big enough to share and... More

My family (group of 9) went to Trattoria Lisina on a recent Tuesday evening. We have been there many times, and the restaurant is usually great, as described by others. It is very convenient to be able to meet at Duchmann's Winery next door for a glass prior to our dinner reservation. The Pros. Ambiance, decorating style, and menu. One... More

My wife and I had lunch at Trattoria Lisina with our daughter’s family while visiting them over the Christmas holidays. They insisted on taking us to this restaurant having eaten there on several occasions. This is one of the best Italian restaurants my wife and I have eaten at. Plus, the décor and atmosphere adds a special touch. It requires... More

Great Service! Great Food! The pasta was fresh, the marinara was delicious, and the service was great. The quality of food was fantastic. Try the wines next door at the Duchman Winery

9 of us shared a wonderful night out at this beautiful Italian restaurant in Texas Hill Country. the setting is lovely and the atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful. Our food was delicious--everyone enjoyed their entrees following the cheese and salami tray we ordered as well as calamari ---our service was great. Would definitely eat here again!

The setting of this restaurant is most wonderful. The food compliment the setting and wine well. I had the pork chop and it was so yummy!! However, the winery next door and the restaurant have had a falling out. You can not bring wine in bottle or glass from the winery into the restaurant. Bummer. Lots of picnic tables under... More
