One of the best meals I have ever eaten.

I stumbled onto this venue as my destination was the Duchman Winery next door. This proved to be a delightful Sunday afternoon diversion with stellar service, two great bottles of wine, creative salads and perfectly prepared steak, wood grilled asparagus, mushroom fettuccine, fresh made focaccia and the best coconut cream pie I have ever tasted. Five star food. Three star service. My boyfriend took me here for a special dinner. We did have reservations which was good as there was a LOT of people there and it was a Saturday night. The drive out was nice and the restaurant was lovely. They had a fire going which was nice as the day had been rainy... More

I really enjoy the food, wine and service here. Between the vineyard, the hill country view and the beautiful architecture the ambiance is hard to beat. I've been going to this restaurant since 2009 and have seen many changes, but its always met my expectations. They have a little playground for the kids and a bocce ball court that you can... More

We thank our friends who told us about this place. It is located half way between our house and daughter's in Austin so it works great for dinners out. I have written a review before but this past visit demands that I again brag this place up. The setting is great located with the Duchman Vineyards nearby and a beautiful... More

We were staying in the Driftwood/Dripping Springs area and decided to visit a winery that we had not been to in several years. At the time we first visited it was called Mandola vineyards, but has since changed to Duchman wineries, the restaurant is still owned by Damian Mandola, the creator of Carraba's restaurants. The atmosphere was very nice, the... More

The atmosphere of a restaurant on the grounds of a vineyard is very nice. Since this is owned by the creator of the Carabba's chain, it has a similar look inside- open kitchen, etc., but a little more upscale. The menu and wine/ beer list is very nice. The food was Very good, and the service was both timely and... More

Visited on a Saturday night at 6:00 pm. We are a family of 5 and we did not have to wait for a table. Restaurant and grounds were beautiful! Kids enjoyed playing on the playground and bocce ball. Parents can enjoy a glass of wine while watching, doesn't get much better than that:) we loved the foccia bread and enjoyed... More

Go early. We made 8'clock resv and we were the last diners in there. Food was good,( although they raved about their pizza but said the pizza oven was out of commission) Service was good and the restaurant was very comfortable. One of our party did break a glass and I found it very odd that the manager reminded her... More

What a treat!! If you want to feel like you're in Italy come here and partake of the heavenly light pasta. Curtis served us and exhibited his wine expertise to compliment our entrees. The asparagus salad is unbelievable!! The bread is even a treat. It's a drive but was hopping even at 3:00pm. The sea salt caramel chocolate cake....never tasted... More

The food was great, and the location was serene, but the wait staff was unreal. Their knowledge of the menu and sizes of different items made it so we could all enjoy a family style meal without tons of leftovers. The staff makes this a truly wondrous experience. Go once for the food, go back for the waitstaff.
