Great anniversary dinner

My husband and I went to this restaurant for our anniversary dinner and it was fantastic. Great wine and Italian food. The winery makes a perfect setting for a very romantic evening. Call ahead to make reservations! It gets very crowded, especially on the weekend.

I want to move to Driftwood so I could dine here daily. The roasted asparagus salad was excellent, the meatballs better than grandma's, (and she was a great cook) and the list goes on and on. Not far off I35 at Kyle exit. My new Italian food FAVORITE!

We live in San Antonio and this place is over an hours drive. But omg we would do it again. The atmosphere is fabulous, service wonderful, food amazing. Our server Sean was so helpful. We loved the focaccia with an amazing olive oil dip. Also enjoyed asparagus salad and the meatball appetizer. In fact we were so full we could... More

I can't believe I haven't written a review on this place yet!?? You have to go here! It's a great Italian restaurant on a winery - but I guess a feud between owners separate the restaurant from the winery, but it doesn't matter! Get the moscato if you love sweet wine! The food is great, people are great and they... More

We stumbled upon this gem while looking for the winery. Once we found the tasting room at the winery we were told the restaurant was separate, not at all part of the vineyard. We returned a few days later to have an early dinner and it didn't disappoint. The food is authentic Italian and cooked to perfection. Portions are so... More

This is by far one of my top favorite places for dinner in the Austin area. The service is always top notch and the food is unbelievably good. Everything from pastas, steaks or fish get five stars in my opinion AND don't even get me started on the salted caramel chocolate cake, OMG. I always suggest a reservation, however if... More

The grounds are beautiful (inside a vineyard) and the architecture is pretty but the food was disappointing. If you are an Italian aficionado, you don't want to eat here. Mediocre at best.

Recent visit to celebrate our son's graduation on a Saturday night. Welcoming facility in Hill County and off the beaten path to say the least. Food was very good our service was very uneven. Party of nine seemed overwhelming for our server with little help from the assistant servers. Perhaps a smaller party would be handled smoothly Osso Buco (Veal... More

Arriving you are struck by the simply gorgeous grounds - beautiful plantings, winding paths, little seating nooks surrounding a beautiful villa. Once inside you can't help but be impressed with the decor and ambiance - it is just lovely. The food is wonderful as well - our server was so accomodating and fun. The wine list could be expanded but... More
