Have intended for probably 3 years to get out to Mandolo's in Driftwood. Spent 2 days & nites at a heavenly place outside Wimberly, and on the way back to Austin decided to see if we could get an early lunch. Since it was Friday we were in luck, and 3 hours later rolled out on our way home! Words... More

We visited on a weeknight with a large party (11). Service was good. Large wine selection and helpful suggestions from our waiter. The menu encourages you to order an app, a primi, and another entree. Totally unnecessary: salad and entree are plenty; I even had the primi as my entree and it was more than I could finish. The Brussels... More

Some friends and I had heard of this place and decided to check it out. We were so glad we did. It is absolutely gorgeous! If you love Italy or would like to go, you can get a taste here. The grounds were so colorful with lots of gardens and flowers blooming. There is a water feature that was being... More

My husband and I had dinner at Trattoria Lisina. For dinner, we had two appetizers; Frittelle al Carciofi and Bruschetta al Checca. Our entrees were Pollo al Marsala and Lonza di Maiale Arrosto. Our sides were mixed Italian salad and Creamy Polenta. Everything was very tasty. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing. After dinner, we had pineapple and cherry ice... More

The Mandola name immediately brings to mind good food, but Trattoria Lisina exceeded our high expectations last weekend. We had a group of 22 and everyone had wonderful things to say about the restaurant, the food and the staff. Thanks Jett for making it such a great event! All of the food was incredible, but the pasta dishes and the... More

A beautiful setting with a wonderful restaurant. The food and service was great! It was somewhat noisy but it was Sunday Fathers Day so one must allow for the crowd. Will definitely return. The surrounding grounds were enjoyable as we sat in the shade and opened Fathers Day cards. The adjacent winery is also a fun stop.

This hidden gem is amazing. WOW, we really enjoyed our lunch. Bread, salad, pizza & dessert were all equally SO good. Our waiter was so nice & knew everything about the menu. This resturant is SO beautiful. The views outside are amazing. I highly recommend this place!!

Last night my husband and I dined at this wonderful place. It is located in a vineyard in Driftwood surround by a winery, beautiful gardens & a simply stunning restaurant. We were seated at a table with a terrific view of the gardens & vineyards. We arrived before dark but as evening fell there were lights accenting the gardens &... More

Food was amazing ( I could only eat 4 dishes, Lamb ragu was incredible) and service was very good. We had a chance to meet the owner. Sadly they dont sell the wines from the Dutchman family winery next door. But an after dinner walk next door and you can try some of the good reds they are producing. The... More

A 30 minute pleasant drive from Austin, this restaurant set in a vineyard always pleases - for those of you who want to capture that Italian feeling in the US. Fabulous grounds (and kid friendly, too) with a beautiful Tuscan style restaurant. House wine and gelato are good, too!
