We planned a couples get away. In the meandering through Wimberly, we were told to go to Trattoria Lisina. The gentleman said it would be an awesome meal, a fantastic find and worth blocking out extra time...He was more than right. In every way, it was "the best" of "the best"! Service Wines Food Ambiance Beautiful setting a real gem... More

This is one of our "go to" restaurants only a few miles from our house. It is a great place to take friends, family and business associates because they never fail to amaze on all levels--ambiance, food, service and wine list (Italian). We (or any of our guests) have NEVER had a bad meal here! The site makes most of... More

I could go on and on about the facility, service and food. Trattoria Lisina has it all. The facility and grounds are a photo setting. The staff from the hostess to the waiter were extremely attentive. The food ranks up with some of the best Italian I have ever tasted.

We ate at the Trattoria Lisina last Saturday to celebrate our daughter's and grandson's birthdays. Having never been there, I was mesmerized by the beautiful approach to the restaurant. Reminded me of being in the wine country in California. Our daughter had been there before, and she prepared us for the great cuisine. I had the Osso Buco and it... More

Trattoria Lisina is definitely worth the trip out to Driftwood to this lovely Winery/Restaurant. The vineyards, grounds and restaurant are very pretty, well-tended and elegantly appointed. As a non-meat eater, the options here were a little limited, but the Eggplant Parmigianno side dish was grilled instead of breaded, and not so heavy - very good and enough for me...my companions... This is a not so hidden gem not far from Wimberly and Dripping Springs. The food is about as authentic italian as you can find any where. the ambiance is lively and the staff is friendly.... like eating at your Italian grandmother's house. Every thing is delicious but don't leave without getting an order of the italian donuts!!! Well worth... More

The buildings and environs were nice, but the restaurant really needs some help. It took over an hour for our party of eight to be served and the food was average at best. My pasta tasted like it came from a supermarket. The wait staff was attentive and apologetic but the kitchen must have been overwhelmed. Wait for them to... More

An all around amazing dining experience! The buildings overlooking the vineyard are majestic and look like an Italian Villa. There are fountains, a beautiful garden, a winery. The service is wonderful. The food is amazing REAL ITALIAN food, with handmade pasta and fresh ingredients. The Gelato is a perfect end to a perfect meal. The children will enjoy exploring the... The only thing we will remember about the evening was the long drive to get there. Food was just ok, nothing more. A shame, because it's a nice building and setting. Don't bother making the trip - not worth it.
