Good atmosphere, good food

Go early. We made 8'clock resv and we were the last diners in there. Food was good,( although they raved about their pizza but said the pizza oven was out of commission) Service was good and the restaurant was very comfortable. One of our party did break a glass and I found it very odd that... read more

What a treat!! If you want to feel like you're in Italy come here and partake of the heavenly light pasta. Curtis served us and exhibited his wine expertise to compliment our entrees. The asparagus salad is unbelievable!! The bread is even a treat. It's a drive but was hopping even at 3:00pm. The sea salt caramel chocolate cake....never tasted... More

The food was great, and the location was serene, but the wait staff was unreal. Their knowledge of the menu and sizes of different items made it so we could all enjoy a family style meal without tons of leftovers. The staff makes this a truly wondrous experience. Go once for the food, go back for the waitstaff.

Yes, the food is great. All the reviews tell you that. It is a beautiful restaurant in beautiful surroundings. What that does not tell you is why people love this place so much. I have eaten in a lot of fine restaurants; very few have the charm and the lack of pretentiousness that TL does. You can be served a... More

We love this place, have never had a bad meal here. We often bring out of town guests here. Love getting a spot by the fireplace in the winter or out on the patio in the summer.

My husband and I visit Tratorria Lisina on special occasions and when we want to treat our visitors to something extra special. We have eaten here 7-8 times and have always had exceptional service and food. The location and restaurant are also beautiful and the prices are acceptable. We'll keep this on our list of favorites.

My girlfriend and I wanted to eat lunch somewhere close to a few of the wineries we wanted to visit in Driftwood. This restaurant was fabulous. Rustic, yet sophisticated. Outstanding service and wonderful food. Lovely on the inside, with pretty views of the vineyard. Most entrees were priced in the $20's, but I had a delicious lasagne for $15. The... More

Beautiful restaurant about a 45-minute scenic drive outside Austin. It is co-located with the Duchman Winery, where you can do tastings. The restaurant looks like an old Tuscan building, and the menu has traditional Italian as well as non-traditional dishes. We've never had anything there that wasn't wonderful. We go twice a year. It can get pricey. Count on at... More

There are some meals in life that you'll never forget and this is one of them. It's amazing that the best Italian food I've ever had is in Driftwood. The antipasto sampler's selection of house cured prosciutto and cheese was a revelation; if you get nothing else try this. I also had the Osso Buco(bone marrow was delicious), the wife... More

We went here last weekend for my birthday. There were three of us and everything was perfect. I had asked for a window table and got one with a great view. We went with a traditional Italian meal with several courses and everyone was pleased with everything they had. We did start out with a shared Antipasti which the menus... More
