Trattoria Lisina is definitely worth the trip out to Driftwood to this lovely Winery/Restaurant. The vineyards, grounds and restaurant are very pretty, well-tended and elegantly appointed. As a non-meat eater, the options here were a little limited, but the Eggplant Parmigianno side dish was grilled instead of breaded, and not so heavy - very good and enough for me...my companions... This is a not so hidden gem not far from Wimberly and Dripping Springs. The food is about as authentic italian as you can find any where. the ambiance is lively and the staff is friendly.... like eating at your Italian grandmother's house. Every thing is delicious but don't leave without getting an order of the italian donuts!!! Well worth... More

The buildings and environs were nice, but the restaurant really needs some help. It took over an hour for our party of eight to be served and the food was average at best. My pasta tasted like it came from a supermarket. The wait staff was attentive and apologetic but the kitchen must have been overwhelmed. Wait for them to... More

An all around amazing dining experience! The buildings overlooking the vineyard are majestic and look like an Italian Villa. There are fountains, a beautiful garden, a winery. The service is wonderful. The food is amazing REAL ITALIAN food, with handmade pasta and fresh ingredients. The Gelato is a perfect end to a perfect meal. The children will enjoy exploring the... The only thing we will remember about the evening was the long drive to get there. Food was just ok, nothing more. A shame, because it's a nice building and setting. Don't bother making the trip - not worth it.

Trattoria Lisina sits out amongst the farms and ranch land in Driftwood, TX. The setting is pastoral and a little surreal as you pass fields of vineyards making the approach to the restaurant. The wine list has all sorts of treats . . . not the least of which is a red flight which uses the same type of grapes... More

We drove out of our way to go there. It was pretty, looked over a fountain and the vineyard. I found they tried to push 4 courses on you. I found my food inedible. My husbands lasagna was homemade. Fresh peaches over homemade ice cream was OK. Would not go there again.

We like to try a new winery or two every time we go on a 'wine weekend'. We were very happy to end our weekend trip with this wonderful cuisine. My girlfriend had a seafood pasta dish and I had a fettucini and mushroom dish. They were exquisite. The venue is perfectly situated, with a vineyard out front, just beyond... More

If you want ambiance, this is the place. Ask for a table overlooking the lovely gardens. Wine menu was extensive as you would expect. Pork & lamb chops were nicely done as ordered. Salad was fresh without being overloaded with dressing. Side were enough of a change to be enticing. Tiramisu was the best I've had outside of Italy. I... More

My husband and I recently went to Trattoria Lisina for a special occasion. As usual, it did not disappoint! The setting, in the middle of a small vineyard in Driftwood, TX, is beautiful and picturesque. The food is always excellent and the staff professional and friendly. They handle intimate tables and large groups with equal finesse, while the ambiance provides... More
