Wow!!

A little piece of Tuscan heaven in the Hill Country! Thanks to our waiter John. His suggestions were spot-on - from appetizers to dessert!! He was attentive wo hovering. The scenic drive, the ambience and the food flavors rounded out our day perfectly!!

This amazing italian restaurant in the middle of nowhere used to be part of the Duchman Family winery. They are no longer part of the same business but its convenient to end a day of wine tasting with a solid meal (and more wine if you are not driving!).

This was our second visit to Trattoria Lisina. Service went beyond expectations. We were a group of 10 and there appeared to be a rehearsal dinner going on as well, but our server, Travis, made sure we had everything we needed. The Caesar salad is big enough to split and the kitchen had no issues with two plates. The Brussels... More

Our family went with two friends of my in-laws. The food was very good, but if you bring kids.. there is not a separate kids menu. They have pasta, sauce, meatballs and pizza. Also plastic cups for kids. There is also a nice play area outside.

Found this place while rambling through the Texas Hill Country and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of both food and service. Trattoria Lisina is co-located with the Duchmann family winery and has an interesting history. Brainchild of Damian Mandola ( of Damian's - Houston fame), the kitchen turns out an amazing array of great Italian dishes. On the expert... More

We return here time after time. The food is always excellent. The staff is very attentive without driving you crazy. The wine selections are great.

Very romantic setting and excellent food. Only place I know outside of Austin and San Antonio to go for outstanding cuisine. Designed like an Italian Tuscan villa behind a vineyard with fountains and gardens. I had the Osso Bucco and my wife a steak. Red wine to complement the meal.

The people here are always friendly, the Tuscan look of the place is pretty and the food is good. My only complaint is that over the last year the times they are open and closed are all iver the map.

First I would like to specify that I have lived/ worked in Northern Italy for quite some time. Lisina's brought me back so many memories from my younger years. Everything about it reminds me of country side Italian trattoria. ( except the HVAC ducts :) ) Excellent food, decent choice of wines, great service, and such comforting ambiance. Nice outdoor... We have dined here a number of times both as a couple and with a large group. The food has always been amazing. The venue is fabulous. The folks working at the newly renovated bar area are very knowledgeable and friendly about the wines. Which proves to be particularly important - because even with a reservation (which is an absolute... More
