I’ve been going to this restaurant for about two years now, and they have always lived up to my first visit, dining in or taking out. The prices are average Thai restaurant prices, maybe $12-16 entrée. The atmosphere is simple but there is a bit of Thai flare in the décor nothing too elaborate. You can definitely have a date... Sweet Basil, a Thai restaurant, offers a pleasant alternative to the ordinary. The food is well prepared and seasoned. Sweet Basil has a rating for the degree of spice heat in each dish and it can be changed on request. Overall a very good experience.

I think it's pretty evident by the negative and dismal reviews (of what I believe to be a fine establishment) that you probably don't know real Thai food. I have been to Thailand several times and it tastes just like something you would get at an authentic restaurant there. My favorite dishes are as follows: crab rangoons, tom kha shrimp... More

I rarely review the decline and fall of restaurants, but my previous review of Sweet Basil as decidedly hopeful. At the time, it was transitioning to new ownership with a renewed commitment to excellent Thai food in comfortable ambience. Simply put, Sweet Basil has lost its way. Spring rolls, once a house specialty, now consist almost entirely of rough-chopped iceberg... More

My family went to Sweet Basil for the first time Friday July 26, 2013. REALLY wish we had not. My wife and son shared the Seafood Mixed Grill skewers. The scallops were no larger than a peanut, the shrimp were barely large enough to cover the skewer stick and the mussel sent my son to their restroom to "evacuate". Awful!... More

Love their lunch combinations. The soups are always tasty and the dishes can be ordered with just as much "hot" as you want.

I think the recent reviews of Sweet Basil tell a troubling story. While the food was often very good, high staff turn-over and a lack of attention to upkeep were making this Thai restaurant a less-appetizing destination. New management took over about a month ago and cleaned the restaurant from top to bottom, with small but nice touches to the... More

Super nice staff. They want you to have a pleasant dining experience but there are a few problems that make that impossible not the least of which is the food. The place needs a serious cleaning. Baseboards, chair cushions, windows, floors and even tables are all badly in need of cleaning. The chairs are stained and filthy. The walkway to... More

Place is clean, has good atmosphere, and great food - what more could you want! Try this place for some good Thai.
