Simply classically adorable

Absolutely love this old tyme ice cream parlor... and that's exactly what it is... it's not a mass produced chain, it's a mom and pop with home made ice cream that never disappoints, and the vibe is amazingly 50's....

Excellent ice cream parlor on the square. Over 90 flavors to chose from...including jalapeno. Typical ice cream parlor ambiance with adequate seating. Also serves light lunch. Good counter service.

Old time atmosphere, good ice cream, but overpriced. I am not a fan of ice cream, so i rather pay less for Blue Bell and it's just as good.

Beth Marie's is THO go to spot for ice cream. Where else can you get a real soda fountain experience these days? Scoops, shakes, sodas, phosphates, sundaes. You pick! Creative flavors like Courthouse Fudge, Frenchy's Orange Sherbet, cinnamon pecan ripple, bourbon pecan, there is a flavor for everyone. Be sure to ask them about the ones named for locals. This... We frequent Beth Marie's all year long, but it's particularly good in the summer when we want to cool off from the Texas super-hot temperatures. The location we went to recently is the newer one at Unicorn Lake, but we also like the original location on the Denton square. When we want a light dinner, they also have sandwiches, soup... More

Admittedly Beth Marie's has good ice cream and offers a unique atmosphere however we have been there several times and never encountered a friendly employee. They all seem to hate their jobs and act like you are inconveniencing them by ordering something. Also the restaurant is dirty and do NOT use the bathrooms they are horribly filthy!

Our daughter and fiancé took us here on a recent visit to the area. This is one of their favorite spots. We had dinner at the Abbey Inn and stopped in here afterward to enjoy their fresh, homemade ice cream. There was a line waiting to be served, which is the best testimony to their great quality. The line moved... More

3 adults walked in, full from a huge lunch. We all delighted in the selection of ice cry, tried a few samples. We all offered the junior boat... 3 two ounce scoops in a banana split style serving dish. We all enjoyed our selections. They make their ice cream on site. Great stop!

If you are looking for a nice way to cap off your visit to Denton, Beth Marie's has something sweet and cool waiting for you. I love their variety of Ice Cream, waffle cones, and quaint atmosphere. Beth Marie's draws prople from all points, from the local college students, families and older couples who still enjoy date nights.
