Had just enough time for a sandwich before a play. Wow! What place. I would have loved to shop. I had the half muffaletta. It was huge and very tasty. The family all tried different sandwiches. The big winner for my tastes was the Italian beef. Thank goodness my daughter didn't eat it all so I could sample. Budget some... More

When walking in the door at Jimmy's, you are greated with a heavenly smell. So fresh, so Italian. I have visited this store several times in the past and purchased pasta, fresh sauce and the best hot Italian sausage ever! Their breads, sausages and cheeses are great too. Today was the first time that sandwiches were ordered - the meatball... More

Well known for many years and worth a stop on the East side of downtown. Parking in the area is tough, room inside the crowed shelves is minimal and consuming your lunch inside or outside very limited. Good italian stallion sandwich priced very fairly and drinks in cooler. Would have preferred a more rustic/home baked bread. Would suggest meatball sub... More

LOVE Jimmy's!! The smell when you walk in the door is amazing!! There sandwiches are large and very fresh (made to order). There cannoli is awesome as well. I love the fresh pasta and sauces as well as the meat counter! Great little gem in Dallas!

The sandwiches are worth the trip alone! They have the best meatballs around, and I love their bulk Italian sausages (mild and spicy). They also have an excellent selection of pastas from NY and Chicago, and great prices on canned tomatoes. Tons of great Italian wines, and lots of Texas produce. And lots of Italian cookies, candy. They frequently host... More

We love this place. They have some of the best meat balls, you can buy them by the pound. They have all kinds of wine, and when they do have them, they have great canollis.!!! They do also have a really good deli with all kinds of frest meats and cheeses, they will also make fresh to order sandwiches.!!!

Best Italian wines in town. Wine pairing was delish! I have now attended 7 of Jimmy's wine pairings and each time I have to ask for a doggie bag. Pasta is always so good! The wine reps are very well educated regarding their wines and have no problem answering questions. I would suggest replying immediately for the pairings. Before the... More

I found this place on trip advisor and am glad I did. The roast pork with broccoli rab was excellent and well priced. The bread had a nice crust and soft inside texture. The staff was helpful and friendly. A real treat for lunch on the road.

Being an Italian Citizen and from the Northeast, I am familiar with Italian food, markets,etc.. The market is nice for the south and is an oasis for Italians in the area. The market should have more prepared foods then just a couple of sandwiches and olives. The sandwich i had was poor to fair at best. The amount of meat... More

This little grocer and restaurant is much more than meets the eye! It has such a unique and special feel to it. The people are super friendly. We ordered sandwiches and didn't have a place to sit, then we found out they have a special large backroom with extra seating beyond the kitchen. It had a romantic down to earth... More
