Don't expect a big fancy grocery and deli. Jimmy's is a long time favorite old neighborhood store with a great selection of homemade and imported Italian food. Their house-made sausages are the best. It's always a treat to shop and discover something new. I don't consider it a restaurant. It's a small grocery.

The store is great, but so far to be the #3 in TripAdvisor!!! First of all, where in the world you see a place that is called an "Italian" restaurant and don't have a pasta!?!?!? Just got away...

I live in Austin, and on a recent trip to Dallas, I went to Jimmy's (thanks to reviews here) for the first time. I would drive to Dallas for no other reason than to go to Jimmy's. The sandwiches were amazing, as were the meatballs -- I wish I'd bought a dozen packages of those. Poking around the aisles and... More

What an amazing grocery store and eatery! There is no limit to the pastas, condiments, frozen pizza, pizza dough, olive oils, sauces, wine, homemade ice creams of all flavors, frozen gourmet cookie dough, meat market, seasonings, etc! And if you like root beer there must be 10 different kinds as well as other specialty drink brands. The sandwiches are huge so... More

Jimmy's Italian sandwich is the best I have ever tasted. I make it a point to go there EVERY time I visit Dallas. How I wish there was a store like this in Mississippi!

Ok, so I moved to Texas from Miami and grew up in Philly. In Miami we had a great Italian Market and Phiily was an Italians dream. When I found Jimmy's I couldn't believe it. Real butcher counter. Large selection of Italian wines and even fresh veggies. A real gem in Dallas.

It's Dallas' slice of NYC! I LOVE Jimmy's and apparently I'm not the only one. We go for... so so so many things. - Lunch deli - they have amazing sandwiches! Get the Cuban and some paper towels to wipe the sweat. It's a game changer! - Wine selection - it's amazing for a little store and much of it... More

I know that there are many reviews and devotees of this store. I really like the old store charm and some of the selections of food to buy. It's a fun place to go and look around. I'm not sure though, what the fuss is about the sandwiches. They were fine, but not anything special. The bread was OK but... More

Feel like you are on mulberry street in little Italy. Superb meatball sandwich with fresh sausage. Finished with some freshly made cannoli. A must for anyone who likes Italian fair!!!

Awesome deals, delicious food, eclectic selection. Not your typical corner store. They put out a newsletter so we can stay on top of deals. The wine deals are the ones that we can't refuse. They even have special events where they have chefs come in and cook food specifically suited to pair with 7 or 8 different wines. This place... More
