Good Food, Old Atmosphere

Went here for Christmas dinner which was a fixed menu not their typical menu. Chose St. Martin's because they had some traditional Christmas dinner options. The restaurant is boutique. It's north to the downtown and I think I drove for about 20 minutes there. The live music is just amazing, making the atmosphere even better. The foie gras is my recommendation.

My wife was looking for something different when we decided to head to Dallas for some Christmas shopping. She found Saint Martins which ended up being a great experience. The service, meal and souffle were better than expected. We will make this a stop for other special occasions.

We have been here 5 times now- mostly on our anniversary. It's a small, dark, romantic restaurant off Greenville Avenue. They have a wonderful piano player over the holidays. The host is a French gentleman with grey hair and is always very gracious and welcoming. The food overall is really good although the scallops were a bit gritty this last... More

We visited this restaurant a couple years prior and stopped in Dallas again just to eat here. We were not disappointed. There is a wonderful wine list and we shared a bottle. I had the La Pate de Maison and my husband had L'Escargots St. Martin's. Both were fabulous. For an entree I had the De Veau Francaise and he... More

My wife and I ate here for our anniversary. It was much more than I anticipated it would be. Fine French cuisine, and a feeling of a five star restaurant packed into a what would appear from the outside to be nothing more than a hole in the wall dive. The prices are high, but atmosphere and the food is... More

We hadn't been to this restaurant in many years and it was a nice surprise. From the pate, to the scallops, and veal dish, all in our party thought that the food was exceptional. The piano player helped to create a great atmosphere and we appreciated the manager pointing out to us the wonderful huge antique bar and a little... More

I have been going to Saint Martin's for over 20 years and always enjoy my meals. The atmosphere is intimate, the service excellent and the food is always exceptional, especially their signature Champagne Brie soup. Make sure at least one of your party gets it so you can all try it if you can pry it from their hands once... More

We showed up for a Saturday evening with six foodies. We were not disappointed. I ordered a bottle of the Sancerre (at a very reasonable price) right away. Everyone was pleased with the crisp but not overpowering citrus notes. With the several beef orders we also enjoyed the William Hill Cabernet Sauvignon (from Napa, again at a very reasonable price).... More

A lovely, small, cozy restaurant. The brie cheese soup is to die for. Always makes fr a special evening. We need more traditional restaurants like this instead of all the new industrial looking places. Many special memories here.
