A new favorite

On the recommendation of my wife's hair stylist, we gave Oishii a try for lunch. Located in a strip center, it turned out to be quite a nice find. My wife had one of the sushi selections while I tried the Kung Pao Chicken. The sushi was very fresh and tasty, while the KPChicken was a good one... read more

Five of went and enjoyed the sishi and the Weds night half-price wine. Particularly, try the 24, the Tribeca and the sashimi. We go quite a bit, and think the food and service are among the best for the genre.

We started with the dumplings and edamame and they were the best I've ever had! We ordered several different rolls and cocktails. All were very good! Well worth the trip. Excellent!!

My doctors always g take a candidate here and wondered what the food was like since I live sushi. When I say it's a nice place it really is. I went solo for lunch and really enjoyed myself. I live the food!! I had the Sushi lunch and feel in love. I will be back next week for another adventure.

My wife and I went for lunch one day. We ordered from the lunch menu. Wait staff was good at first then was nonexistent after. This place was very noisy. The parking outside is horrible. The food was just okay. Neither of us were pleased with anything. At the end the waiter tried to short us on our change. If... More

I enjoyed the sushi. Not the best in town, but not bad either. The atmosphere was good and not crazy, so you can talk and hear your friends. It has a really good wine selection as well.

Oishii, means “delicious” in Japanese. And, the food is just that! It’s a sushi and Pan Asian restaurant. We went because a long time bartender from Morton’s left Morton’s to become the general manager at Oishii. So, we told him we’d come visit. We started with pan fried pot stickers which were some of the best we’ve ever had. They... More

This restaurant might not be located in the most charming neighborhood but it is one of the best sushi places in Dallas. Very simple place both from outside and from inside, but very clean and organized. Make a reservation for lunch because it can get pretty busy. Food is really good, very fresh, and rich in flavors. Service is good... More

I have been to Oishii a number of times and am always impressed by the quality of the sushi and the creative rolls the sushi chefs have created. The pho is also some of the best in town - fantastic. Don't let the humble appearance of the strip center fool you, Oishii is a top notch restaurant.

My friend brought me here for lunch. Very unassuming from the outside, but once you walk in, a beautiful space! Not busy, but consistently had people coming and going. Nice sized menu, not too big, but many choices. I had the Miso Soup which was good but most places have the seaweed in it, this was just the soup tofu... More
