Knowledgeable bartender that can offer up many options based on your likes. I had one drink on Sunday night, and came back Monday evening with a group of co-workers, the bartender asked me if I wanted the same drink as the night before. I was impressed. The Bar menu was excellent. I had the buffalo tacos. Incredible.

Had dinner here while staying in the hotel and enjoyed it greatly! We sat in the main dining room, with open kitchen, but there is another conservatory-like room that looked very attractive as well. Decor is Texas contemporary elegance and menu is equally contemporary. Very smokey flavors and excellent steak. Pricey, but worth it, in our opinion.

OK--this is like a few famous restaurants/chefs in many cities--people are reluctant to be critical of the restaurant because it is an "institution" and others are raving about the place and you do not want to stand out as lacking taste. Fearing's has pluses (the ambiance and service are exceptional), unfortunately it does not make up for really bad flavoring/seasoning.... More

My husband and I enjoyed a second great experience at Fearing's. The food is elegant Texas cuisine with some Asian influences here and there (eg the tuna tataki which was delicious). The sommelier Paul guided us to a fantastic red burgundy and we appreciated that the chef Dean made a point to stop by to say hi. The outside bar... More

We are regular visitors to the Ritz Carlton in Dallas where we take small parties of CEO's from the UK on business benchmarking tours. Chef Fearing can often be seen circulating among diners in his restaurant which, although top dollar, is consummately professional and delivers a fine dining experience in top class surroundings. Menu is sufficiently different to excite and... More

This is one of Dallas's finest restaurants! Very creative, excellent food, wonderful atmosphere as well. The Bar has a great feel and the appetizers are good, try the mango chicken quesadillas.

Six of us went out for a nice company dinner. The service was very good and the food was phenomenal. Even the small things, such as tempura fried okra, got the gourmet treatment. It's great to be able to enjoy this level of dining without wearing dress clothes.

Four of us decided on Sunday brunch to celebrate one's birthday. Great idea! Food choices are just varied enough to offer something for everyone, but not so overwhelming where the menu has pages and pages of info to peruse. Free valet parking is a terrific addition as well. Each one of us ordered something different, and all were enjoyable, although... More

Dean Fearing is the King of Southwest Cuisine. The dinner menu has so many great appetizers and entrees it is hard to choose what to have. The tortilla soup is the best. The antelope was very good. Will have to go back for more. The wine list is exceptional and the service is impeccable. We stayed at the Ritz so... More

Dean Fearing knows how to run a restaurant. The food is great and I like that you can sit in the super formal area or in the little area by the kitchen. Service is great too. I have never had a bad meal or poor service in this place. Go! BTW, the bar is quite a scene on its own.... More
