Quite good. Not great.

Ambiance was excellent. We had an early dinner (6p), so it's hard to get a true sense of ambiance at that time of day, but the restaurant was attractive and didn't have that clinical feel that some fine dining establishments seem to have. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was attentive... read more

After reading all the accolades about this place, I expected to be blown away by the food. Regrettably that did not happen. I ordered from the vegetarian menu, which I had to ask for because it is not provided until you ask. The selections were limited, which was expected. I order the goat's cheese rolled and then fried in a... More

I have eaten at many good restaurants and Fearing’s is one the best. Hands down! Everything from start to finish was seasoned perfectly, beautifully presented, and priced reasonably. The service was phenomenal and the cocktails creative. I highly recommend going here.

We live in Dallas and have eaten here at least 6 times over the past couple years. Each and every time we've eaten here we leave disappointed. Last night was another "strike". We had a simply cooked lobster with a piece of filet and some sort of spinach "taco wrap". The filet was fine, the lobster like rubber and the... More

One of the best meals I've had in Dallas in recent years, complemented by terrific service and beautiful decor. The prices were comparable to other upscale restaurants, and not at all unreasonable, especially considering the quality of the meal and overall experience. Nice variety of menu items, creatively prepared but not too far out. (And yes, the tortilla soup is... More

My husband's stated his meal was 'good', mine made me ill after about three bites. Not exactly sure if it was the salmon or the sauce, but I was not able to finish. Disappointing.

My husband and I seek restaurants that take dining to the next level. Dean Fearing and his Southwest Cuisine accomplish just that, and more! The beauty of Chef Fearing's menu is his use of many dishes we grew up with but then kicking them up several notches with layer upon layer of flavors and spices or new presentations that just... I have eaten many good steaks. However, Fearings is the best. Hands down. The corn bread pudding is to die for as well. The service throughout the entire dining experience was phenomenal. Highly recommended.

6/12/2014 My husband and I ate here for our wedding anniversary. It is located inside the Ritz-Carlton where we were staying. First, I asked about the dress code( since my husband left his dress wear behind) and to my surprise there is no dress code. My husband and I were greeted and seated very professionally. They also had a card... More
