Description: Fearing’s Restaurant opened at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas in August 2007 and was named No. 1 in Hotel Dining by Zagat’s 2009 U.S. Hotels, Resorts, and Spas Survey just 15 months later. Its continued recognition can largely be attributed to the lively personality and flavorful menus of Chef Dean Fearing. With his “Elevated American Cuisine – Bold Flavors, No Borders” and Texas’ fresh farm-to-table ingredients, Fearing has created an indoor-outdoor culinary experience that is like no other in Dallas. The bold flavors of Fearing’s can be savored in specialties such as the Tortilla Soup, Barbecued Shrimp Taco and Maple-Black Peppercorn Soaked Buffalo Tenderloin. An array of rare premium tequilas, Dean’s Margaritas, and nearly 6,000 bottles of boutique and rare-vintage wines offer an ever-changing choice for discerning diners.

Everything one would expect from the longest tenured American Chef in the Dallas Area. 30 years and still setting the standard by which all others are judged.

Had lunch at Fearing's on a recent business trip. Colleague brought me here because of the reputation of the owner/chef. Excellent modern, upscale decor. Easy to have a business lunch conversation. The waiter was very professional, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The menu was very creative, gourmet and varied. I started with the well-hyped tortilla soup. It was very... More

Always a stop for us, love the bartenders inside. Was very disappointed in the patio. It's was a quiet night, but no excuse for empty lounge areas with dirty glasses and napkins all over the patio. Not at these prices...ever. White wine serves at a poor temperature. Very sloppy for this restaurant. It's a reflection of attention to detail.

Fearing's is a very attractive restaurant located in the Ritz Carlton. I had read the reviews which were excellent and had high expectations. I would say the food was very good but not excellent for the price ($75 per person without dessert of beverage). I order grilled oysters to start and halibut for my main course. I cleaned the plate... More

Had dinner recently at Fearing's, having never been there before, and in town for a conference. The food was absolutely amazing - one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Every detail was thought out to make the meal a very memorable experience. Service was also excellent, with friendly staff that left you alone and didn't... More

Looking to step up your game for an evening? Tired of the ‘jeans and t-shirt’ taco bars and burger joints that line the streets of Dallas? Want a taste of high class living, even if just for a night? There’s no better place than Fearing’s Restaurant. I mean, c’mon, it’s in the Ritz for goodness sake! You know you are... More

Beautiful setting, good service but we didn't find the food anything special. The bone-in rib eye didn't seem to be prime....it was tough and also overcooked. The veggies were heavily over salted to the point that they were inedible. There were six of us...some of had the rib eye, some the surf and turf... and the experience was the same... More

Fearing's is a fabulous restaurant that has become a special place for me and my husband. We have enjoyed visiting Fearing's several times over the last few years for drinks, dinner and/or breakfast/brunch. The food and service are always top-notch, but it has a laid-back and relaxed feel. You know you're someplace special, but it doesn't feel fussy. We know... More

Very impressive meal and service. The owner visited on a couple of occasions and was enthusiastic about the restaurant and the dining experience. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
