I cannot even begin to understand the "love" or good reviews of this place. I have a high expectation of restaurants who charge $26-$30 for appetizers and $36-$58 for entrees. And while even after the first read of the menu, I found the combinations by line item overly complicated and wondered what it would be like when it hit my... More

As a starter, this restaurant is expensive. Entrees run from $40-$60, and appetizers top out in the $25 range. If there is no way that you will find food at that price worth the price, don't come here. That said, value is in the quality of the experience, and Fearing's offers a unique culinary experience. The menu is inspired, with many... More

Food was wonderful, Dean Fearing was there and stopped by twice to check on us. Almost everything was perfect, with one exception. While I was perusing the wine list, the waitress asked if I would like a suggestion, I said sure. She then went on to recommend one $1,000 bottle and another $2,000 bottle, what is that? I have never... More

Extremely beautiful dinner; we sat at the chef's table right next to the open kitchen. The waiter was very great, service excellent. Very expensive and some of the main courses were small. The people who had the bison filet with the chicken fried lobster tail were delighted! I enjoyed the tortilla soup.

We come here frequently, and are never disappointed. My husband and I had the buffalo tenderlion and it was perfectly prepared. Our guest, the bone-in steak, and he devoured it. Appetizers were the sampler, the tortillo soup, and the crab/tuna tempura. (in my opiniion, not really a tempura, but excellent as a tuna tartare and shasimi). Service. as always, perfect.... More

The food was ok for the breakfast we did get but way too expensive. I ordered two eggs, bacon, toast, orange juice and coffee for two people and bill came to $70 US.

We were in for The State Fair of Texas and was looking for a nice place to have Sunday Brunch. I had read about this place so we took a cab on over, I was a little surprised how far it was from the Omni Downtown so two large cab bills didnt make it worth it. What did make it... More

Very interesting restaurant and fare. A beautiful new age space puts you in metropolitan setting which is beautiful and well done. Your are greeted by the hostess and you are walked down this long hallway to the restaurant. It opens up to a beautiful dining room and an open kitchen....along with a seperate wine room enough to hole about 20... More

Quality Chef food experience served in an interesting setting. Be sure to dine in Dean's Kitchen. Tortilla soup is a must. Also Crispy Blue Point Oysters. The Texas Carpaccio was delightful. Waygu Beef topped with poached gulf prawns. Loved it. For entrees we had Scallops with Pork Belly, Maple Black Pepper Buffalo Tenderloin, Filet & Chicken Fried Lobster. All were... More

This past Sunday I had the opportunity to dine at Dean Fearing's, Fearings in the Dallas Ritz Carlton and once again it did not disappoint! I am a long time Dallas fan and Fearing fan. When he left The Mansion on Turtle Creek years ago I was so saddened. (This is my go to Dallas Hotel) But it's worth heading... More
