Still our favorite restaurant in Dallas!

My wife and I dined here for a special occasion in September 2014 We love Fearings, we've been fans of Dean since he reigned supreme at the Mansion on Turtle Creek. For years I've been getting my wild game jones satisfied with Antelope at his restaurants, and this night was no exception. We... read more

I've only eaten here twice and I can't wait to go back again. Everything I've ever tried on the menu has been really good. Especially the BBQ short-ribs.

I visited Fearings for the New Year's Eve dinner and was very disappointed! The appetizer was truly discusting, second course seafood I could have made better myself. The beef Wellington was ok but wasn't really beef Wellington it was deconstructed. At $175 a plate I really would have expected the food to be top notch and it was a far... More

Was visiting Dallas on business and client took me to Fearings. I am not a Dallas fan- and they wanted me to try the "best" of Dallas. We ate at the bar type seating, and had the Chefs tasting menu. Food was good, not great. The wine pairings with the dinner were just awful. Dean did come out and talk... More

I have eaten at Fearing's many times, and it is always fantastic. This restaurant is the epitome of high-end Southwestern cuisine. For anyone visiting Dallas, looking for a signature meal, this is the place ! Try the Buffalo or Antelope; you will not be disappointed.

I cannot even begin to understand the "love" or good reviews of this place. I have a high expectation of restaurants who charge $26-$30 for appetizers and $36-$58 for entrees. And while even after the first read of the menu, I found the combinations by line item overly complicated and wondered what it would be like when it hit my... More

As a starter, this restaurant is expensive. Entrees run from $40-$60, and appetizers top out in the $25 range. If there is no way that you will find food at that price worth the price, don't come here. That said, value is in the quality of the experience, and Fearing's offers a unique culinary experience. The menu is inspired, with many... More

Food was wonderful, Dean Fearing was there and stopped by twice to check on us. Almost everything was perfect, with one exception. While I was perusing the wine list, the waitress asked if I would like a suggestion, I said sure. She then went on to recommend one $1,000 bottle and another $2,000 bottle, what is that? I have never... More
