In an unassuming strip mall, this restaurant really cooks! On Christmas day - yes, after all the presents we went OUT for dinner - we joined a crowd of mostly Korean diners for table-side barbecue. After a basket of glowing coals were delivered to our brazier, our foursome enjoyed the (non-marinated) rib eye steaks served with lots of savory appetizers... More

The name is Koryo Korean BBQ now, not sure when it changed. Compared to other Korean BBQ restaurants located in this area of Dallas, this is by far the best we have been to. Come with a crowd, it is much more fun to sit at a table for six or eight and have more options with so many great... More

My husband and I went to have lunch yesterday. The first time we went in January, it was superb. This time, OMG, the Kalbi he ordered was inedible. It was leathery and chewy. It was also $21.99!!!! I had the Dolsot bibimbap for $9.99 which was fine. They do have a tiny salad bar with lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, onions with... More

I don't know the history behind the name, but don't look for Chosum Kalbi. Looks like it is really Koryo BBQ. I relied on my GPS, for 2560 Royal Lane, but Koryo was actually on the other side of the street. The shopping complex it is in is next to a large pink building. It is hard to find, but... More

I have very high standards because my mom makes the best Korean food on the planet. That said, Koryo BBQ was very good. We had the kimchi chigae, dolsot bibimbap, and the octopus bibimbap. Everything, including the sides, was fresh, tasty, and well-seasoned. We had more food than we could eat and were also given yummy shikhye (a sweet rice... More

Love this place! Every time I go, the service is friendly (Omi is hit or miss). I almost always get theTeeokguk soup, but the mackerel, bulgogi and the barbecue are fantastic too. My sister loves the kimchi sondobu. The side dishes are changed up with the seasons but they are always good. The ambience is very nice too. It is... More

It's in the middle of a Korean services strip mall & a little tricky to find. But the food won't disappoint. I had the pork bbq and I thought it was yum-tastic!!! We also shared Bi Bim Bop which was spicy and good (from the sauce added) and one of the soups with the rice balls which we love. It... More

On my day off, me and my hubby like to try a new resto. This time we chose Koryo BBQ for our lunch. We like spicy food. So we ordered Maewun Sokalbijjim (braised beef short ribs simmered in hot spicy sauce) and Maewun Dak Bulgolgi (spicy chicken bulgolgy). The beef wooow....it's really spicy.....but still yummi... :). The bulgolgy is sweet... More

Place is kinda hard to find. There are several signs for it although they don't stand out as much as the food does! The front door is recessed back into the strip mall front, directly under the square structure that has all the business names on it. I was pleasantly greeted and seated promptly. Waiter exhibited good English and helped... More

I stumbled on this place while trying to find another restaurant that was closed on Sundays. What a find. I lived in Korea and love Korean food, this place did not disappoint. There is simple tasteful decor that imparts a warm atmosphere with light colored wood booths original appropriate art and colorful orchid plants. The extensive menu goes beyond the... More
