If you like burgers and beer, this is the place to go! My flight was delayed so I had time to satisfy my curiosity about this dive. Yep, it is a dive! Deep Elum location. BUT>>>>the food is fantastic. When you walk in, be prepared to scan the menu board and choose your poison. They have all kinds of burger... More

Flew in to Dallas for the weekend and swung by Twisted Root for lunch before my afternoon activities. I luckily walked in between lunch rushes and quickly placed my order and found a table. The service was fast and friendly and my Spicy Goat Buffalo Burger was delicious. The sweet potato chips and home-brewed root beer were a perfect addition... More

Went to the original. It's a hole in the wall, but the burgers were absolutely delicious. They have a few different types of pickles that you can scoop out of a jar when you get your order (the atomic were great!). Our party tried the Spicy Goat, The Verde (with a black bean burger), and the Western with a fried... More

I was not real sure about this place, it looked like an average hole in the wall restaurant. I was wrong! There are so many different versions of burgers you can get here. It may seem over whelming at first, but its a good feeling of what on earth should I get. My burger came with a ranch bacon sauce,... More

I went with a group of friends a few weeks ago. The staff were all friendly and attentive. I loved the atmosphere of the joint. It totally had a Diners Drive Ins and Dive feel to it (which is of course the reason for my visit. I love me some DDD.) One of our orders came out wrong, but they... More

My review is at several locations. I have been at this location, the location by SMU, the location in Plano (or Allen or somesuch place in the hinterlands). The locations are all pretty much the same. We are living in the era of the good burger joint so while this is good there are others that are equally good. Don't... More

Great burger with high quality ingredients. Tasty custom creations and different meats make it a fun place to eat. I would eat here more if I could go without spending $15 or more. Seems a bit steep for a burger and fries. Maybe thats a good thing, keeps me from eating here everyday.

Been there with friends, family and alone. Always had wonderful food and great atmosphere. It's my favorite place for a burger. Has the best burgers. The frozen ice cream drinks are so good. Employees are friendly.

Its been a long time since I've had a burger that good. And with all the choices to fancy it up is pretty amazing. I keep going back for my favorite, someday I might try one of the other choices. Pickle bar is a great idea.

DFW has an abundance of good burgers, so TRBC provides a unique twist to common burgers. I always order fried pickles and I always try a different burger sauce. Good bar atmosphere and a great place to catch a game on the weekends on big TVs.
