This place had the best hamburger I've ever had. It was so yummy. When you order, they give you a name card to call out when your order is ready. The names are pretty funny, and it was funny to watch the different names they gave to people. I had the Big tex, and the fries with cheese and bacon... More

We saw it on DDD and made a point to stop on our way through Dalas. The burgers were very good. I had a buffalo with onions and mushrooms. My wife had the Frito Bandito- buffalo burger with chili, cheddar, guac and fritos. Currently its our #3 DDD burger joint and one of our top 10-15 all time burger places.... More

Went for a famous burger with family who live in area. Atmosphere cool/unique. Had outside seating even. Was neat. Prices little high for a burger. Burger was good but not the "best burger ever". Probably would not go back. But glad for the experience!!!!

We've visited the twisted root several times, and always find it to be fun and interesting. Parking is very limited so be prepared to park and walk. The atmosphere is what truly makes this place a must visit next time your in the Dallas area. Not far from daily plaza, it's a great places to visit after a day of... More

Let me start by saying all my burger reviews will be compared to The Burger's Priest in Toronto. I am on a quest to eat loads of burgers for comparison. I will then write a review. What makes this place average...hmm...well, I ordered the Kevin Bacon. Yep, you guessed it a burger with bacon but also with blue cheese. The... More

My wife and I went on a diners, drive-ins, and dives road trip in 2010 and stopped by Twisted Root. We arrived about 1 hour early and the the line was down the block to get in Now every time we pass through Texas, this place is a must stop. The Chuck Norris quotes in the bathroom are awesome! .

This place is cool. It everything you would not expect. The menu can be overwhelming, so park yourself to the side and let other get in the ordering line. Take it all in and take your time. The entire thing is meant to be unusual and entertaining. The hamburgers are original and tasty. Unusual and flavorful combinations will have you... More

We were meeting friends here on a beautiful, sunny Saturday afternoon. Unfornately half of the people in Dallas were too! I'm happy for them that their business is doing that good but oh my gosh was it ever crowded! The line to order was out the door. Luckily our friends were at the bar and the friendly bartender girl took... More
