Toulouse is not the place to come if you want 3 star food, but if you want to sample simple bistro fare which can be very good or sometimes not quite so good and always popular with locals then pay Toulouse a visit. Driving by during the day you'll see that Toulouse is always crowded, with people having breakfast, lunch,... More

I wanted this to be a gem of a french bistro but it shockingly wasn't, frankly it was disappointing... Everything on the menu sounded so tasty but was a complete letdown when it arrived. The cheese plate was stingy, the lobster bisque was mostly tomato cream soup with very little lobster, the salad was wilted and sandy, the risotto was... More

My girlfriends and I sat outside on a breezy March afternoon, and the atmosphere was worth the trip into town! The food was excellent; we shared their famous cheese plate, which offered four varieties of French cheese, honey with honeycomb, fresh and prepared fruit. We paired that with a fresh, crisp savingnaun blanc. My friends had sandwiches, which they said... More

The outdoor seating in the spring is worth the trip. Directly off the Katy Trail, this is a great spot! The food is just ok. The lobster salad was good, but not great. The lobster was not fresh, but the mussels were pretty good. Enjoy!

As a french major living in Texas, I crave any opportunity to reconnect with the French culture. There are few chances. . . . except for the occasional visit to Toulouse. With dark woods and small tables crowded together, if you squint it's almost like being in a bistro somewhere near Paris. It's not pretentiious and not fussy. I do... More

Perfect spot for a leisurely lunch! My salad nicoise was uniquely plated with a fabulous set of flavors. The "house specialty" pommes frites were crisp and delicious. Sat in the enclosed patio street side. Never too loud. My second visit--and I hope to return!

It doesn't stand out as outstanding. It's a ok place to stop and eat, have a meal. Nothing really stands out. Price is $$$, not the most expensive.

The staff was very attentive and let us sit by a window where we enjoyed drinks ( great ) and the lobster bisque and salads ( my salad was so good I almost ordered one to take home). Our entrees were also delicious. I had the salmon. No dessert, we were too full. I thought the ambience made it worth... More
