This is a high priced restaurant that claims to be a fish house. It has an impressive menu of excellent looking fish dishes. If you’ve ever been to GW Fins in New Orleans, you know what an upscale fish house is supposed to be. The Dallas Fish Market is a cynical poser. First, the food: Really attractive items on the... This is a high end seafood restaurant, and I didn't get seafood, so perhaps I didn't order in their strong suit. At these prices though, and the caliber restaurant this is trying to be, I would expect any dish to be good. The server at our table was very good and attentive, which was a big plus. Unfortunately, the food... More

Who knew some of the best steak tartar ever would be at a seafood place? It had 3 sauces, lemon, mustard, and capers and it was huge. Amazing! Next we had the central market course of scallops with celery, yes celery! Delicious. The main course was also memorable...I had the bass and my husband the steak. Both were memorable. Lastly,... Our foursome was seated in a small room left of the front door. Before we got our water, we asked to be moved to a larger dining room. There was a loud group of 8 people next to us and the acoustics in this small room made the noise very unpleasant. Once seated in a quieter room things got better.... More

I went with a group of 20+ for a business meal. The room was on the front of the building and had a good view of some downtown buildings. The area felt safe. The beef tenderloin was fantastic. The chocolate terrine was a nice way to finish the meal. The staff were quick and alert to our needs.

If you are a local or just visiting Dallas, this is a restaurant you must go to for any any event or excuse. We went during Restaurant Week and had one of the best experiences. Probably the best Restaurant Week Experience of all restaurants only equaling Dallas Chop House (owned by the same people). They did a wonderful job with... More

Found this while walking from the Magnolia hotel, where a friend was staying on her visit to Dallas for work. We had a delicious lunch. After quickly being seated, we arrived right before the placed filled up for lunch, they took our drink order and brought out fresh hot jalapeno cheese biscuits with maple syrup and butter. So yummy! Just what we like: clean, cool lines, white shirts, tablecloths, good wine, freshest of ingredients, creative twists on veggies, even the lowly catfish was cool and light. We'd go here again in a flash!

I "rediscovered" this restaurant today at lunch and was more than pleased. Atmosphere is wonderful, service was spot on, the food- salmon and sushi perfectly prepared and delicious. Complimentary cotton candy at the end- you won't want to miss. Highly recommended.

We went here for a Saturday night date during the 4th of July weekend. The place was almost empty as everybody left downtown for local lakes and family picnics. We sat at the bar for a before dinner drink and we loved Kelsey the bartender so much we stayed at the bar for dinner. Wow, we weren't disappointed.
