Our last visit to Pappas Bros. was on Dec 23rd. My flight from Seattle was delayed and my wife had called to let the restaurant know we would be late. She also inserted that she had made the reservation because this was our favorite restaurant in Dallas, and that this was the one place we wanted to eat at again... More

What a great place. I liked the ambiance, the service was good, and our meal was terrific. We visited this place twice while we were here and would recommend it to anyone.

Had dinner on a Monday evening with my cousin who lives in Dallas. This was his recommendation as he had been here a few times before and I was looking to have a great Dallas steak house experience. Service was attentive and professional. I ordered the aged prime rib eye, based on the waiters recommendation and my cousin had the... More

It was a little pricier than Del Frisco and I liked the Del Frisco steak marginally better. Grill might not be as hot so my medium was a little more cooked than I hope. I know though, medium is pretty hard to perfect sometimes and it was not too cooked where I even considered sending it back. Very nice &... More

We dined here while being in town for dallas market. We had a reservation at 7 and didn't get seated until 7:30. The service was slow at first but once it got rolling our waiter was really nice and attentive. The found was outstanding. We had filet, au gratin potatoes, and the cheesecake is a must! Other than the slowness... More

Oh where do I begin! We went here the night before the college championship game so there were a ton of fans and it was packed. The management kept apologizing for fans being loud but honestly it did not bother us, but it was nice for all the managers to be circulating and making sure their guests were comfortable. The... We dined here on Saturday night after Christmas for a family dinner. Requested a round table in a quieter location which we had. We had not been in a couple of years. We were seated quickly. Our waiter, Henry, was awesome. From our wine, beer, appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts--it was all outstanding. Several of us split entrees. Henry was... More

Steak house are opening all across Dallas with excellent food available. But Pappas is arguably still the classiest if them all; even minus their cigar lounge. Hardly aloof but definitely a class act with food and service unsurpassed in the metroplex. Much much more than just great steaks - an experience.

Pappas Steakhouse is a little pricey but it is excellent. Save your money and go! A great place for an anniversary or birthday dinner! The rib eye is wonderful!

We arrived early, and was greeted wonderfully. We had a few minutes so we sat at the bar. I asked for a suggestion of wine and was given a great glass. We were sat just a few minutes later. The server was amazing! He knew so much about the menu and even a great wine to suggest with dinner. I... More
