Found this restaurant from Diners, Drive Ins and Dives on Food Network. We drove up and since we had a 6 year old were not to sure about it. However, we went on in and enjoyed one of the best pizza's ever. My daughter and I got the gluten free crust vegetable pizza ( I don't really care for pizza... More

Here's my recipe for perfection: Best thin-crusted pizza on the planet. Stiff pour from friendly, erudite bartenders. A neighborhood crowd from a very large neighborhood - all warm, all willing to converse. And finally, Chris (Junior Canelakes) who hasn't missed a beat taking over for his late and truly great brother and the joint's namesake, Lou. He is the genius... More

I have heard a lot of reviews and comments about Louie's over the years. One reviews said that Louis died and the place is closed. Louis died in November 2013 but the place is open and kicking. Even though he died in November the place is alive and vibrant. I highly recommend Louis's. The food, anything you order, is great.

Cannot get enough of this place. Start with the crab claws and follow up with the amazing pizza. Definitely recommend getting the house made sausage on there!

I usually don't write reviews on trip advisor for my hometown restaurants, but felt the need when I saw the low ranking for Louie's. Yes, the wait can be long sometimes, both to get a table and to get food. Yes, some, but not all of the waitresses can be aloof at times. Yes, the parking sucks and they only... More

Based on the recommendation from an associate I decided to give this place a try. I have had hit and miss luck with Triple D spots since many get so overwhelmed that they cannot keep up the quality. Our party of 2 arrived around 6pm on Wednesday night and the place was pretty sparse. There were several people at the... More

Martini's and pizza is what this place is known for, and both are awesome! Parking is good on the side streets when it is a busy day. It's the kind of place you can go and stay for hours, just hanging with good friends.

This is a hidden gem in old east Dallas. It was discovered by Diners' Drive-ins' & Dives. The drinks are free pour. The pizzas are true Chicago style,(thin crust). There is a hamburger called "The Don". It is spicy since there is jalapenos added. The salads are over the top in size. The small will easily feed two. They have... More

I am a Dallas transplant, originally from the Midwest. I saw the Diners Drive-Ins and Dives spot on this place and thought, "Eh. Being on TV probably ruined whatever they had going." I can be cynical. I have to disagree with the extremely negative reviews I've read. The atmosphere lacks high ceilings, square footage, cool light fixtures, and intense electronic... More

That says it all. Location is cool, atmosphere is divish, service is questionable, but the pizza is amazing! We always get sausage...you HAVE to get the sausage on your pizza. The pies are homemade everyday by Mom & are fantastic!! Don't forget the greek salad! Oh, cash or amex only :).
