I ordered a special that included a meat and two side dishes. They cut the meat onto a plate and you self serve yourself for the side dishes. Both my wife and I got potato salad as one of the sides. After the first bite of the potato salad it was clear that either raw potatoes were mixed in or... More

This barbeque is great. It's tender, smoked to perfection, it's delicious. If you ever have a craving for barbeque, you will not be disappointed if you choose Dickey's. My personal favorite is the loaded baked potato with brisket and barbeque sauce on top, it's phenomenal, a must try.

I was excited to see a Dickey's inside the DFW Airport terminal (C), but I was disappointed at what I received. The Barbeque (good portion) was piled into an oversized bun and the sauce was poured all over it, making a wet mess which was difficult to manage in a fast-food setting. The small drink was very small. In short,... More

This place was recommended by a shop clerk at the airport, and I'm happy that I took his advice. The sliced beef brisket, which I had without the sauce, was wonderful. The chips were OK. To get your food you go through a deli line and pay at the end, and then find a table. This worked well - you... More

I was in Dallas for a business trip in April 2013. I noticed people with Dickey's bags during lunch. It turned out that Dickey's had a place in downtown Dallas near our meeting at the Sheraton. The food was excellent, with different types of barbeque and many good sides. It should be noted that this location is only open for... More

Not much I can add that has not already been written about how good it is. The only things that come up short: green beans at 2 pm were looking wilted and overcooked, the "complimentary" ice cream would be much better if they used milk instead of water in the mix ( comes out yellow and crystallized ), and the... A couple of years ago I met a business associate at a Dickey's in the Plano area and was not too impressed. Looking for dinner at DFW, was a bit scepticle but in the mood for BBQ and it was near my gate. Good choice. The brisket platter was delicious...tasty meat, good coleslaw, and green beans that were a bit... More

This is the worst BBQ you can get in Texas. The equivalent to McDonald's. If you want real BBQ go to Sonny Bryan's , Mike Anderson's, and maybe spring creek

I know that this review could get you lynched in some parts of Texas, due to their loyalty and love for Dickey's. However, as a lover of barbecue and one who has traveled all over the country enjoying it, I would say that this one is middle-of-the-road. The meat was dry and needed the sauce to make it work. I...
