Great Service and Food

We arrived before the Dallas Stars game and told them up front that we were tight for time, what was amazing to me- this did not disrupt excellent service from waitstaff. We skipped appetizers and went right to Caesar salads which were well done and presented in a Parmesan "bowl". Well made and... read more

The place is certainly popular with locals and visitors. By 7 pm it was filling up fast. However, the food was not especially tasty. It was beautifully presented, but not really tasty. A seafood tarte had a funny vegetable taste in the crust, and though there was lots of crab on it, the delicate crab flavor was smothered by the... More

This is my favorite Dallas restaurant for many reasons. You will enjoy dishes here with a delightfully different twist and you get the feeling it was prepared just for you with love and care. The service is outstanding! There is nothing else like it in Dallas and definitely an escape from the usual.

Wonderful, incredible and words cant describe the quality of this restaurant. It always maintains a great kitchen and the service is impeccable. Chef pyles is by far the top chef in the DFW area. Going back again for New Years.

Victor Rojas had told us on our last visit to try to get here for this special menu, which would be reminiscent of the one that was served last season at the former San Salvaje. My husband ordered the noche buena and I ordered the lamb off the menu. My starter was the signature tamale tart, and it did not... More

This is a very good restaurant. Several food items were simply amazing. The Tomato Tart and the desserts- "Coffee and Donuts" as well as the Chocolate Tart were exceptional. The Branzino and the service were good. The server seemed a little too forced. Expect to spend some money BUT when you crave something later because it was so good....it was... More

Given that Stephan Pyles is noted for Southwest food, I was expecting his restaurant to have that kind of theme. It does not. It's a very high tech/upscale place. The kitchen is open so you can see the chefs cooking their creations. The food is very creative and changes with the seasons. This is a pretty expensive place to go,... More

I honestly think this may be the best overall restaurant in Dallas. There was a time about a year ago that I thought maybe things were going south. The wine list was noticeably degraded and the energy in the dining room was way down. I am happy to say everything is back to the expected high standards - the list... More

Oh my gosh...so many delicious touches in this meal, reminiscent of our last Latin pre-Thanksgiving at my former love - San Salvaje! The menu read so well, we just knew we had to come here this year. And as our friend Victor Rojas (from San Salvaje) told us when we arrived - the chef worked very hard on creating this... More
