For what is supposed to be maybe the best restaurant in town, it was pretty lame. Service was okay, not slow or mixed up, but way too interactive and best friendy. Just bring the food, answer questions and get out of the way; no need to have lengthy conversations. And the decor is fine. No issues there. But the food... More

We were seated quickly by attentive staff in an atmosphere that is best described as quirky elegance (and this is a good thing). We were served warm bread with butter at just the right temperature. There is great attention to detail here. The caesar salad requires assembly - tender whole leaves of romaine lettuce are bound by a ring of... More

We've eaten at multiple Stephan Pyles restaurants in the last 8 weeks or so and have been delighted each time. Service at this restaurant started off slow but otherwise was excellent. And the food was delightful. There was a new selection of ceviche that had been introduced just a few days ago, we actually tried all 6 options - Ahi... More

SP lunch visit was good. Given the reputation, it should be a wow experience. Cesar salad was pedestrian although the cornbread croutons were amazing. Grilled scallops over a corn and bean relish was good....just not great. Very expensive given the food. Again, dessert was just fine but not great.

i took a group of business guests and this was a real hit. Very classic hospitality and service in a warm eclectic environment. The food choices are unique and gourmet. We shared an assortment of appetizers, and each person had fabulous entrees and desserts. The pork chop and pigs ear was a bizarre combo that was delicious. The halibut was... More

Went here on short notice and sat at the chef's table on a busy Saturday evening. The wine list is not overwhelming, but has some interesting selections. They understand how to serve wine at the proper cellar temperature. This is a feat that, surprisingly, has not been mastered by many restaurants for reasons i still don't understand. The caesar salad... More

This restaurant pleased each member of our 14 person dining group. As part of a business dinner we had preset menu choices. I opted for the tamale tart for first course, beef tenderloin with short rib flauta (!!!) and their signature dessert "Nuevo Heaven and Hell". Each course fabulous. We had TV feed into the kitchen where we could watch... More

I had a fine meal here. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. I highly recommend trying several of the ceviches as appetizers. Many of the dishes have a piquant flavoring that was slightly unexpected but really worked. I'm picky about restaurants and am often disappointed, but this is a restaurant I'd return to.

Excellent food, a steak the size of Nantucket, deserts just too big for any single human being, but overall just a great experience. Go there. It's wonderful.

Went there with my good friend. Waiters are knowledgeable, food was fantastic, and the ambiance incredible. It's good for girls night out, work dinners (we went for lunch and lots of suites), and dates.
