With a friend we visited Stephen Pyles. The decor and service were perfect. Appetizers (shellfish ceviche, Caesar, and the tamale tart were all outstanding. As to the entrees (cowboy ribeye, beef tenderloin, and the pork short rib) all very good in taste and well presented. My husband and I thought the pork was a bit dry, and the tenderloin was... More

Birthday dinner for my wife. Went to Stephan Pyles. Dinner started off with a sample from the chef. I had Chef Pyles' signature bone in ribeye. Almost too big. Dessert had another surprise, this time from the pastry chef. Flavored scratch marshmallows. Then we topped off the night with another signature: the heaven and hell cake. Delicious. Worth going to... More

My favourite restaurant in Dallas, cevices are really top class. both fish and meat entrees are excellent The only weak point are the deserts, they clearly lack finesse

I was very impressed with Stephan Pyles. Not cheap food - but everything served was fresh and delicious. Very creative dishes. Nice atmosphere, a fabulous restaurant overall.

If you are coming here, it is for the fine dining and ready to not look at the price tag.... The pallete cleansers and little snacks are amusing... But portions dicate you will have a desert at least to share...

Had my first visit to Stephan Pyles on 2/20/15. I brought a client here for lunch. The three of us had such an awesome experience that I immediately made a reservation to bring my wife on the following Friday evening for dinner. When we arrived for dinner, I pretty much gave the waitress free reign to suggest their signature dishes.... More

When our friends suggested Stephan Pyles for our dinner club setting this month I was apprehensive after looking at the menu on line. The menu seemed a little too "food network" for me, but I was wrong. I found the food expertly prepared, and delicious. I had the crusted sea bass and my wife had the duck breast, both were... More

Myself and another person in my party had a tamale tart appetizer and brandzino for a main course. We had never heard of this Mediterranean sea bass. Another person had a steak which he thought was one of the best he had ever eaten.

Very good food and very attentive service. We have been here many, many times since they opened. It is consistently good. It is walking distance to the Winspear opera house. If you want a long luxurious meal, you can do that; if your trying to make a performance, you can do that too. Fantastic atmosphere, beautiful restaurant.
