The ambiance says it all. Great atmosphere, the menu is superb, although it does make it a little difficult to make a choice. The wine was outstanding. The service and attention to detail from the staff was amazing. The exact experience you would expect from a 4+ star restaurant.

This was our second visit to the restaurant in four years and nice to see that the quality has not gone down. Excellent food and nice ambiance, pleasant change to be somewhere where you can actually have a conversation and hear and be heard. We had a dozen oysters to start with although only 10 were on the plate however... More

From Baby Routh's to Star Canyon to Aquaknox to Fish Bowl to Stampede 66 to San Salvaje to Stephan Pyles. Since the early to middle 90's eating at Stephan Pyles restaurants I've never ever been disappointed in a meal. And the bar is set pretty high. This place is no exception. Just go and enjoy. Enough said.

Stephen is a very creative chef that takes common foods and turns them into very special dishes. I have never had an average meal at his restaurants

There is no better place in town for a special celebration than Stephan Pyles. The service is impeccable, the food is first rate, and the atmosphere always suitable for any clientele and any occasion. We enjoy the bar for a cocktail, and then being seated, but, on occasion, we'll sit at the ceviche bar for both cocktails and dinner. I... More

Christmas Eve dinner for four. Waiter read the menu to us - not specials, the actual menu - very annoying! Recommended Tamale tart very bland and cool, he said it was hot! Green salad was only that - a plate of greens! The Ceasar salad was three leaves of romaine wrapped in grilled cheese and a side of huge croutons.... More

The ambience and service were outstanding. Ceasar salad was good. Tasting platter of ceviche was very disappointing. The 3 dishes were overdone. Too highly sauced. It was not a simple ceviche focused on the fish. The bone-in ribeye was outstanding and the dish alone made the visit to the restaurant worth it. The other main courses were ok - Bronzino... More

For what is supposed to be maybe the best restaurant in town, it was pretty lame. Service was okay, not slow or mixed up, but way too interactive and best friendy. Just bring the food, answer questions and get out of the way; no need to have lengthy conversations. And the decor is fine. No issues there. But the food... More

We were seated quickly by attentive staff in an atmosphere that is best described as quirky elegance (and this is a good thing). We were served warm bread with butter at just the right temperature. There is great attention to detail here. The caesar salad requires assembly - tender whole leaves of romaine lettuce are bound by a ring of... More

We've eaten at multiple Stephan Pyles restaurants in the last 8 weeks or so and have been delighted each time. Service at this restaurant started off slow but otherwise was excellent. And the food was delightful. There was a new selection of ceviche that had been introduced just a few days ago, we actually tried all 6 options - Ahi... More
