Great food, average service

Went here with a group of 20 business colleagues. Food was very fancy tex mex, which was a new concept for me. I had beef tenderloin, which was overcooked. Some others in our group had the Ribeye steak, which they said was delicious, it sure was gigantic! It took about an hour for our entrees to... read more

Went with some friends for restaurant week. Food was pretty good but the restaurant was freezing. The ladies were ok because they were given a shawl to use but I was shivering the whole time. Service was ok but I couldn't really enjoy it because of the temperature. I won't be going back.

I can't believe this is a popular restaurant. The food was very average and so was the service. I felt it was too loud for a business lunch. No one in our party raved about their entrees which is a red flag. I have been here twice now and had the same experience both times, so I won't agree to... More

We went for Restaurant Week, which gives money to the North Texas Food Bank, and not only were we treated well, we were fed elegantly! Don't miss this fabulous experience next August, and in the meantime, go support this wonderful restaurant. Dazzling tastes and sights -- and we didn't even have to yell to be heard by our dinner mates.

Although the decor and ambiance were above average, the food for the price was less than ideal. Service was average and friendly, but less than attentive. My fish cost $42 and was forgettable. Sorry, too many other outstanding options in the DFW Metroplex to choose from. I most likely won't return.

Recently visited Dallas and used trip advisor to find something close to my current location Stephan Pyles came up and so I gave it a try. Excellent Excellent Excellent I had the swordfish and it was amazing. The chocolate peanut butter mousse desert was also amazing. The place delivers in all aspects, food, ambiance, and service. The food was delicious, sevices are deligtful, chicken fried seet breads are expertly highlighted by accompanied pickled vegetables, hubby’s lamb was excellent, but my Heritage Berkshire Berkshire Pork Short Ribs were divine. Meat was suculent with perfect balance of fattiness and the sides, Smoked Potato and Grilled Apricot, expertly complimented... More

Went to Stephen Pyles for a belated lunch with a friend. I've been once before a while back with a friend. The ambiance and the atmosphere was very nice. However, we were chided a bit because we did not have reservations! The place was like 25% full! LOL The smoke chicken with asparagus was great with an awesome rosemary sauce!... More

The service was good, wine list good as well and the atmosphere nice. It's not too dressy but not casual either, just right. The menu has a few adventurous choices, but really something for everyone. Good place for business or a nice night out with the wife. Use the valet parking.
