I had a group dinner for 15 or so clients at Stephan Pyles. Immediately upon sending out the invite to the clients, we had positive responses from prospective guests. The service was excellent- they kept our large group happy. I enjoyed the ceviche, tamale tarts, and the beef tenderloin. The private room is perfect for dinner.

Great Restaurant Week Menu and Wine Pairings!! Our Server, Tav, added to the great experience of our Dinner! We even spoke to Stephen Pyle as we were exiting his Restaurant. Always a Good Sign when the Signature Chef is on the premises.

Service was a five from top to bottom. The food unfortunately was a three this night. Caesar salad was beautiful but lacked any real Caesar flavor. Loved the fried polenta croutons. Tenderloin and short ribs just middle of the road. Not what SP has produced in the past. Will try again.

A really enjoyable experience with great service, wonderful food and ambience. I had been in Dallas 10 days and without doubt the most enjoyable and tasteful meal. Give it a try.

The restaurant's name sake stopped by to say at dinner. That was impressive for someone of his stature. Dinner was very nice. Always impressed with the flavor combinations. I had the halibut and my wife had the tenderloin. We both enjoyed the dinners. Only feedback I would give would be on the music. A little loud as I had to... More

I visited Stephen Pyles for lunch while attending a conference at a nearby downtown Dallas hotel. I ordered the Waygu beef burger. I was curious as to what it tasted like, since I wasn't interested in eating the other menu offerings. I requested the burger be cooked "well" and it was. To the point that it was dry and tasteless.... More

Nicely done! Interesting combination of tastes and techniques. And the kitchen was very helpful in my desire for additional veggies. I enjoyed the extra care taken to provide more creative dishes and presentation. If you are looking for a big ol' hunk of fish, this might not be your place. Something a bit different and not what you can do... More

Visited Steven Pyles for the second time while in Dallas in April. Great atmosphere with something for everyone. There are areas in the restaurant that are more quiet and more lively areas as well so choose seating based on what time of experience you're going for. My favorite thing about the atmosphere is the open kitchen. It is fascinating watching... More

When I come to downtown Dallas, I look forward to Stephan Pyles. I have never been disappointed. Came for a business dinner. Waitstaff were gracious and helpful. The menu is always creative and interesting. My dinner companion and I both ordered the market fish of the day - delicious! As mentioned by another reviewer - there is a good amount... More
