We were there for 2014 restaurant week, and it did not disappoint. This is one of my favorite restaurants. Their menu changes, but they keep favorites like rack of lamb and the goat's cheese/garlic starter is amazing. They always have fantastic flavorful entrees prepared perfectly. The service is consistently excellent and consistently friendly and elegant atmosphere. We'll be back.

Salum is a wonderful restaurant. The owner Abraham Salum is always there, working hard making sure all of his guests are happy. The food is always delicious. We love that a portion of the menu changes frequently. The monthly special salads are always great. Last night I had the scallops entrée with an edamame puree that was like really good... More

We could not wait to get back to Salum and have Abraham 's wonderful dishes. Of course he was there and came right over to say "hello". As I have said in my previous review his rack of lamb is the best. This time we tried the pasta. We like to sit where we can see the chefs at work... More

If Abraham Salum had an identical twin who was also a chef we wouldn't be surprised! The secret to the success of this restaurant is no secret - the chef/owner is ever present both at his eponymous Salum and through the connecting kitchen next door to his other fine restaurant, the upscale Mexican one called Kamali. Moving through the tables... More

The chef here is great, and he's been putting out consistently great food for several years now. When I was there recently, I had a burger (not something I would usually order there, but decided to be different), and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly, beautifully seasoned, and perfect toppings with amazing choices. I hadn't had a burger this good in... More

We have been to almost all the good restaurants in Dallas and cannot say enought about Salum. Abraham Salum is one of the most wonderful chefs and restaurant owners we have ever met. He cares about his customers and takes time to stop at each table to make sure everything is great. His rack of lamb is delicious and not... More

We went with a group of 14. Our size party is usually a little overwhelming & intimidating to the wait staff, but not at Salum's. They were very attentive- impressive service! I love the contemporary decor & light fixtures. The food was delicious and the wine list was super. The House Salad is wonderful! My husband had the Drum &... More

Dined at Salum last night...our waiter was great!!!! Restaurant was buzzing...confusion reigned between the wait staff and the hostess desk...had a table reserved for 6, the hostess sat us down only to be told by a waitress not to put us at that table...so we went to the bar...table ready..SAME table...They ran out of the lamb chops (was wanting these)... The entire experience was great. Our table was ready just a few minutes after we arrived on a very busy evening. The hostess was very accommodating and our waiter was outstanding. The prix fixe offering was outstanding, particularly the filet and lobster tail entree. Owner/chef Abraham greeted us, as is his usual gesture with his guests. The ambience of Salum... More

Having eaten here with my family the other night. I can honestly tell you that locals rule. We requested a empty table along the wall were told it was reserved. Which it wasn't cause not one sat there till 2 hours after we arrived. Service itself was awful had to ask the bus boy to get additional rounds of drinks.... More
