What a treat!!!!

This restaurant is incredible. Very nice feel inside. The food is delicious. Also, had the best Pinot Noir I have ever had. This place is a must.

My wife and I have dined here several times over about 6 years. Salum is reliable and consistent. The ambiance is fine. It attracts a kind of upscale, mostly older clientele. Business casual is the usual attire, though a few men will have jackets and ties. However it is by no means "stuffy" or pretentious. We were greeted warmly by... More

I dined with my spouse and another couple on a Wednesday evening, when the restaurant was practically full and very lively. I had the grilled lobster tail, which was split and served on toasted brioche (2 pieces) with scallion bacon aioli, possibly the best lobster dish I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Service was mostly very good, except... More

Been there 3 times, tried to like it, but can't return... every dish is too salty or too sweet, just not right. And service was a big disappointment couple of times, too. See my previous reviews here... -- 3rd visit: should never return... still, too salty, too sweet, typical dishes there... and the service was rather cold, water was low... More

Went last week (during the week) &, as usual, Abraham & his team delivered! The food was excellent & Andrea(our server) was delightful, funny & attentive ( just right level-no hovering). For those of you who've never dined at Salum, Abraham Salum, the owner/chef, was at Parigi (which, BTW, has disappointed lately), before striking out on his own. Salum is... More

....because it must be very difficult for a restaurant to execute at the top of their game during such a helter-skelter service period, including I'd guess, some diners not accustomed to eating at really nice places. That said, I feel that candor is owed, and the positive press surrounding this place will probably squash any negativity in my review. Nobody... More

We had an excellent meal at Salum about two weeks ago. Elegant dining room and excellent and cheerful service. This is old fashioned food without the intrusion of chefs creating fusion food. Tuna Carpaccio appetizer was an excellent starter, although I could barely put down the warm tasty bread. Wife and I split a Caesar salad and it was one... More

Came here recently for a Sat evening dinner. The staff is top notch and no complaints there. The menu seemed a little short, but guess that's how they keep it fresh. Was hoping for scallops but they were not on the menu. I ordered the mussels as an entrée and immediately regretted it. They tasted of kerosene (?) and not... More
