Never a disappointment!

Went last week (during the week) &, as usual, Abraham & his team delivered! The food was excellent & Andrea(our server) was delightful, funny & attentive ( just right level-no hovering). For those of you who've never dined at Salum, Abraham Salum, the owner/chef, was at Parigi (which, BTW, has... read more

For those of you who've never dined at Salum, Abraham Salum, the owner/chef, was at Parigi (which, BTW, has disappointed lately), before striking out on his own. Salum is... More

....because it must be very difficult for a restaurant to execute at the top of their game during such a helter-skelter service period, including I'd guess, some diners not accustomed to eating at really nice places. That said, I feel that candor is owed, and the positive press surrounding this place will probably squash any negativity in my review. Nobody... More

We had an excellent meal at Salum about two weeks ago. Elegant dining room and excellent and cheerful service. This is old fashioned food without the intrusion of chefs creating fusion food. Tuna Carpaccio appetizer was an excellent starter, although I could barely put down the warm tasty bread. Wife and I split a Caesar salad and it was one... More

Came here recently for a Sat evening dinner. The staff is top notch and no complaints there. The menu seemed a little short, but guess that's how they keep it fresh. Was hoping for scallops but they were not on the menu. I ordered the mussels as an entrée and immediately regretted it. They tasted of kerosene (?) and not... More

Have come here for at least six years; lunch today. Lunch or dinner, the place doesn’t skip a beat. Food is always perfectly cooked & seasoned, the service is timely, pleasant, and is truly customer-focused. Still our favorite in Dallas.

Maybe we just hit them on an off night, but we were fairly unimpressed with the food. It was presented beautifully, but the taste was nothing special. Prices were on the high side, so we definitely expected better. Service was good as was the atmosphere. I might give it another try in the future.

My friends were quite excited to take me a hot-spot of theirs. But while it's a very cozy space in an ugly strip mall, I must say, it just didn't live up to the hype. I did note Salum won lots of awards some years back. I'm used to paying big-city prices, but I expect high quality and good service... More

Flew into Love Field and friends took us to their favorite restaurant. Salum Outside not great inside very nice. Think Paris or Singapore We first had the truffle pate. Just outstanding. Silky smooth, flavorful, again think you are at a 3 star Michelin in France. Yet not the high prices. I had the squid ink seafood pasta. World class, tremendous,... More

Visited Salum as a pre-theatre meal. I had great truffled pate and a truly wonderful squid ink pasta with seafood including shrimp, mussels, scallops. Probably the best seafood pasta dish I've ever had. Others had the sea bass and all thought the dish was exceptional. Wine choices were broad and by the glass options were plenty. One can certainly see... More
