My hubby and I visited this spot for the first time and... omg..... the food was awesome. We both had steak and shrimp but the hubby had lobster and it was great. Everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was hospitable and friendly.although the prices were a little overboard, it was well worth it. I... More

I was visiting Dallas for business and asked the hotel concierge for Tex-Mex recommendations. He recommended RJ Mexican Cuisine and gave me a coupon for a free appetizer. I was initially excited as I had been wanting to try Tex-Mex for a very long time. The restaurant is nice and the server was attentive. I ordered the queso dip for... More

I had the veggie enchiladas. They were amazing. The salsa tastes very good and appears to be homemade. The margaritas were very good, as well.

Travelled from Thailand to Dallas and we wanted to experience real Mexican food not TexMex, so we were recommended RJ Mexican Cuisine. We were not disappointed! Everything was fantastic right down to the fried cheese cake desert!

We were staying at the Omni hotel in downtown and RJ was walking distance. We had 4 days of stay and we ended up eating there twice because of extraordinary attention of the servers, friendly advice and above all GREAT food. Everything we tried was delicious including the squash soup, the shrimp cocktail and fish tacos. I highly recommend this... More

While visiting Texas for the first time, we wanted to try authentic Mexican cuisine. We were somewhat disappointed as our meal was just mediocre. Everything was very spicy but nothing was very tasty. We ordered steak fajitas and enchiladas. The steak fajitas were good, but the enchiladas were bland. Our service was very poor as well. The restaurant did not... More

The food was nice and fresh, but a little over priced. I think the portions are increased to justify the increase in the price. The menu and outside awnings were having a bit of an identity crisis. In addition to Mexican, they had seafood, chops and steaks. The salsa comes in one level of spiciness and that is HOT!. The... More

The food was fine and the service, adequate. However, in a state known for Mexican food, this is nothing special.

Margaritas were excellent. Food also good though a bit spicy for my taste. Environment is upscale and patio dining is available. Would go again.
