When I'm craving southern fried steak it's a toss up between Allgood Cafe and St. Pete's Dancing Marlin. Definitely the two best in Deep Ellum. Heck, the two best in all of Dallas.

We had Sunday brunch here this past weekend and really liked it. They had a special on Mimosas and nice outdoor seating. Their pancakes were THE BEST pancakes I think I have ever tasted and their peppered bacon is unbelievable. My husband tried their breakfast dish "The Hat Trick" and he thought it was great - hearty with the right... More

Slow service and strange attitude on wait staff, different people serve you so nobody takes responsibility for the service. Too much sage and salt used in the food. Can be very salty. I go because my friends want to go there but after 5 times and the same terrible service, poor food quality I'm done. It's a no go!

At a friends recommendation we drove from Plano to have the "great chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, and black eyed peas". Left feeling still hungry and like I had wasted my hard earned money . Will never go back to eat there.

Being from Dallas, we have made it a tradition to come here every Sunday morning. We love the food, the but the service is usually horrid. More often than not the servers seem to have to logical section or system and we are quite often ignored. Once we were sat on the patio and we watched our server walk right... More

This place was right up the street from where we lived so i have been there for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks and can say that they serve good food at good prices and most evenings they have a band playing so it's a nice vibe. I loved their avocado guacamole!!!

During a recent trip to Dallas, I had the pleasure of twice having breakfast at the All Good Cafe. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, music choices and well prepared, high quality food offered in LARGE portions. Great service and atmosphere. Staff even put up with my "northerner' kinda questions regarding southern cuisine such as what is "chicken fried", etc. Recommend this... More

If you're in Deep Ellum and don't go to AllGood, you've missed a gem! The name says it all. Honest to goodness, EVERYTHING on the menu at AllGood is amazing. I eat there a couple of times, if not more, a week, because I am routinely disappointed at other restaurants but never at AllGood. This place takes their food seriously.... More

The place seemed super hip upon entering, but we noticed tha tthe decor was mostly posters for concerts in Austin. Thus, it seemed that the place offered more of an Austin vibe than a Dallas vibe. We asked the hostess a question upon entering the All Good Cafe and she gave us a funny look, ignored our question, and told... More

My husband and I stopped in for what this place claims is the World's Best Chicken Fried Steak. Save your time and money and go elsewhere is our recommendation. The crust was thin and most fell off as you began to cut into the steak. Gravy was under seasoned and accompanying green beans were completely raw. My husband's spinach veggie... More
