Description: Award winning Chef Avner Samuel has opened NOSH Euro bistro and bar. The stylish eatery is located in the space formerly occupied by his ultra lavish Aurora. The expanded space includes a full bar, additional seating areas and a food bar that has been incorporated into the open kitchen. The menu, featuring casual European/Mediterranean inspired fare is offered throughout the day from 11:00am until 11:00pm. A relaxed and comfortable atmosphere complements the moderately priced food and wine list. The bar and dining room have been completely renovated. Look for daily featured Happy Hour items to NOSH on while enjoying one of our specialty cocktails and wines by the glass. Chef Avner is committed to providing tremendous value with quality products, advanced food preparation techniques and great prices. Please join us for lunch, dinner or drop in after work to NOSH on a few items at the bar before heading home for the day.

Unfortunately Avner had to close Nosh about May 1, 2014. Hopefully he will reopen somewhere soon. Avner is a man that has passion for his food like so many others are missing now a days. You may not have agreed with his style but one thing he never lost was his Passion. Period!! While I cannot say for sure why... More

Consistently good food, nice wait staff and their daily specials are delicious. Must try their Brussel sprouts for an appetizer.

Maybe it should be a sign when you can get a table for 5 people on a Friday night at 7:30pm. I had dined at Nosh several years ago and enjoyed it, so I recommended it to a group of friends when we couldn't get a reservation anywhere else. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. Our service was terrible. We... More

The first time the wife and I went to Nosh was shortly after it opened several years ago. We were impressed with the dining room buzz, the bubbly servers, the appealing menu with moderately priced comfort foods. Times change I guess but for Nosh I don't really like the trend. We stopped in for off-the-menu Monday night fried chicken night,... More

Stopped here to check out this restaurant and stayed for their happy hour special. Its convenience on Oak lawn made it right near our Turtle Creek office! They seem to have a special daily. I recommend the Waghu hamburger, and home made fries..

We had been many times to Nosh since it opened several years ago and loved it, but this was without a doubt our very last time! We did not have a reservation but this is no reason for giving us a table in the back corner when almost the whole place was empty. The wine my husband ordered was not... More

We went to NOSH with another couple, our 2nd time and their 1st. The men ordered a beer they were out of and we chose a bottle of wine they were out of. Our waitress helped us choose another bottle, but we weren't off to a good start. We were not aware it was restaurant week, so our waitress pointed... More

Went with friends on a Friday night. At 8 pm it was boisterous and packed. By 10 it had cleared out. Appetizers were good. Fried squash blossoms were likely fried earlier. A little soggy. I order tandoori shrimp main course. Quite a while after ordering, the waiter came back to say it was no longer available. Wonder if he hadn't... More

This is another small resturant in Highland Park but very nice on the inside. Room to walk and comfortable seating. I was there for lunch had the Pastrami Reuben sandwich under "Mains". This sandwich was large and "man friendly". It was too big for me so I brought the other half back to work. It came with fries and the... More

Our party of five got 4 appetizers, which we shared. We had a special: fiddlehead ferns, which were cooked appropriately, but without much flavor. Another appetizer special was an heirloom tomato salad with gorgonzola, balsamic vinegar, and a basil infused oil. The tomatoes were sweet and tasty when I cleaned the gorgonzola off the slices, but were otherwise impossible to... More
