Awesome food/service! Business dinner w/party of 10. Usually a large group gets short end w/service but not here. Attentive w/out being overbearing. Big guns from NYC very impressed. Did I mention the food was fabulous?!

Not too expensive but you will get nice formal atmosphere with great food, drinks and friendly staffs. Bottle of wines were more than 20 - 30 percent less than high-end restaurant for the same graded wines. We opened 3 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon from BERINGER, Napa Valley and bottle price was around $40 - $45 whereas you will find it... More

We arrived and were seated almost immediately. Very friendly and courteous staff! The food was delicious, especially the desserts!

We had a party of 8 and had a fantastic dinner. We got there just as they opened (5:30pm). The service was great and the meal was remarkable. The "Mexican martini" is a good libation, the quail appetizer was exceptional and the mesquite smoked chicken will make me come back. The place gets a bit loud as the evening progressed.... More

One of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. I have never been disappointed. The food is delicious & the margaritas are awesome. The staff is always friendly & service is great.

It's filet meat, sliced thin, and stuffed with Chiwawa cheese. Excellent! Make sure you order it at least "medium" with extra sauce (otherwise, the cheese inside won't be melted). They need to serve larger portions of rice/beans, otherwise it's perfect! Not the place for you if you're expecting enormous portions.

Javier's is a Dallas establishment... that's it! It's the kind of restaurant you go to if you know nothing about food but want to be seen. It is very busy and bustling with aged Dallas Cowboys & their escorts and middle aged folk trying to remember times long past. The food is poor and bland arriving to the table so... More

I agree, don't believe the hype. It was average at best. I had a steak, tender but no flavor, one had fish, very bland. Waaaaayyyy overpriced given the quality of food. It may be trendy but the food is just not that good. When I visit Dallas I like to go to Mexican restaurants, but won't return to this one.

Do not believe the reviews that you have read. This place is below average at best. Please do not equate the Maserati's and Lamborghini's out front with food quality. We took my parents who were visiting from New Orleans for a good meal. They wanted 'quality Mexican' and were unfortunately disappointed. I have been to Javier's before and it was... More

The food her is phenomenal! Do NOT go expecting Tex-Mex, it is no where to be found on the menu! The steak and chicken dishes are all very good. A friend who was with us had the quail and absolutely raved about it! Only one dislike and that is the seating is very crunched! Very crowded!! Overall, if you can... More
