Let me start off by saying. I do not enjoy manufactured hospitality, what I mean by that is fake service. The service here is far from fake or manufactured. The service was exactly that, we were served and treated very well by the staff. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is very charming. This is definitely a hidden gem in... More

Food was buffet style and there was so much variety. After looking at some many good and positive reviews i wanted to give this place a try on my trip to Dallas and was not disappointed. Tamarind Drink is definitely a must try.

This restaurant is part of a Hare Krishna Temple, all vegetarian buffet (with just a few milk based items). The food is very good, well seasoned and probably a lot more healthy than the usual Dallas Tex-Mex joint. The restaurant is small with a well stocked buffet line, soup-salad-vegies-main dish and is open to the elements. On a nice spring... More

I did even miss meat, the food was so varied and delicious! The tamarind tea was awesome and without caffeine. The service was authentic and amazing. The courtyard was so beautiful, peaceful, and I was transported to India in the heart of Dallas! I will return as soon as I can!

Kalachandji's is my favorite restaurant in Dallas. We used to eat there once a week when we lived in Dallas. The restaurant is right next to the Temple, but there's no proselytizing. The food is vegan and from a variety of cultures, not just Indian: Thai, Italian, even BBQ. The Krishnas do not eat onions or garlic, they substitute a... More

Kalchandji's continues to be one of my favorite places to eat. My husband is not a vegetarian either, but he loves the food here. It such a great place with wonderful people that run the restaurant. On the buffet, there is always something that you will like. I love the curry potatoes and the spinach and the meatballs with no... More
