I wanted to review Kalachanji's because it is simply one of my favorite places on earth where I love to go to get energized. The food is blessed with the divine energies of the staff who prepare fresh vegetarian meals filled with loving kindness. Aside from the meal itself, treat yourself to a brief meditation in the temple and sit... More

Not sure why this Hare Krishna Temple is called a palace. It may look a bit like a castle from the outside, but not a palace. There are Hare Krishna / ISKCON cafes / restaurants and then there are some other. This is quite an unusual one outside of India that I have come across. It is squeaky clean, it... More

As vegetarians, my wife and I have had lunch in many vegetarian restaurants in a number of countries. Lunch at Kalachandji's was simply the best. There are plentiful fresh, raw vegetables and the cooked dishes are as fresh and delicious. Not to be missed is their special tamarind drink - light, fresh, and delicious with a meal. Lunch is served... More

I have gone to this restaurant since it opened at least 25 years ago. It's delicious, it's fresh and the atmosphere is calming, friendly and very peaceful. I wish it were open on Mondays other than that it's great that it's open 6 days a week. LOVE IT! From Vegetarian Indian cuisine to Italian and Mexican Vegetarian dishes, Delicious! Always... More

If you are looking for something a little different, Kalachandji's would be a good choice. The cafeteria styled, vegetarian, buffet type lunch is served in a cozy little restaurant located in East Dallas in the Hare Krishna temple. The food was excellent and the atmosphere pleasant. I will return to this spot when I"m in the area.

the food is still as good as it can get. But the donation pricing has gotten a bit high and is no longer a donation. And the atmosphere has changed since the remodeling. It's as if the success has ruined the charm it once had. But it's still best veggie place in Dallas

This Hare Krishna temple has a great community outreach: serve excellently-prepared vegetarian food at low prices in a beautiful garden setting. We went and enjoyed the Sunday buffet, which featured dal, tamarind tea, naan, basmati rice and, confusingly, an excellent vegetarian lasagna. The food was delicious; even my meat-loving family enjoyed the rich and spicy flavors. And we enjoyed our... More

The vegetarian lunch buffet was good, especially the lasagna and tamarind cooler. A couple of the dishes needed salt. The atmosphere was quite pleasant.

Great, fresh food that's lovingly prepared. Incredible flavors in the various dishes, awesome salad bar and vegan molasses cookies. Staff is always very pleasant and its a great dining environment in the garden patio. We love it and we're not even vegetarians. Yum!
