Great for kids!

Okay, so I can finally recommend a restaurant for kids. They have a playground so the little ones can have some fun. I had eggs, sausage and cloud cakes which are their version of fluffier pancakes. I liked it all. The pancakes were still substantial. The sausage was very fresh tasting. After we... read more

Hard to believe that breakfast food quality can be just average, but that's the case based upon my first visit to The Dream Cafe. This is despite exceptional service from our waiter and the morning manager. I ordered Migas but expected something juicier and more flavorful. I got scrambled eggs on the dry side instead. My colleague fared a bit... More

I was asked to join a friend at this cute restaurant for lunch and I was certainly impressed with both the food and the service! I had the salad trio and each of the salads were delicious. There are two outdoor patio areas that are covered so they stay cool and large enough to accommodate quite a few tables. The... More

I found this place and decided to go there since it was one of the few I found with healthier options. I ate there for breakfast and it seemed to be a very popular place. I liked the atmosphere and the waitress was very nice and attentive. I would certainly eat here again.

The Dream Cafe is a funky joint tucked away in nightclub land. The decor was spiffy and the menu offerings were quite varied and interesting. The hits: Excellent offering of vegetarian items. The Global Dinner rocked our world. It was delicious, and the portion size was spot on. The Mac & Cheese was outrageously good. I was hesitant, because it... More

Came here visiting from Florida. This place has a nice menu with lots of great options for any taste. I had the 90210 Benedict and my boyfriend has the Austin Tacos - both were great. Menu items were a little pricier than normal breakfast spots, but didn't mind for the quality of food. The spot was busy, but we were... More

Our families favorite breakfast location. Great selections and great staff. A number of gluten free items. Great coffee. Smoothies. Wonderful outdoor seating. A really wonderful place for a quiet weekend brunch. Typing this makes me hungry and ready for next weekend.

As we headed toward the Dream Cafe for brunch on Sunday, we noticed that the Pancake House was PACKED. People were lined up around the place. As such, I was a little surprised when we pulled up to the Dream Cafe a block away and found no wait. Perhaps that's telling. There were plenty of people here, it just wasn't... More

I am a frequent patron of this location. I love how easy this place is from parking to seating, service, consistent quality and ability to spend as much time as I need in the booth or on the patio. I often have business meetings here or take time to get time for myself and work on things I need space... More

One of my colleagues and I met for an early morning breakfast meeting this morning and had a lovely breakfast on the Dream Cafe's patio. It's August so that's a very unusual thing for Dallas. There were quite a few people taking advantage of the cool morning but the service was excellent and our coffees were kept topped up. I... More
