A lovely restaurant in the Addison area with a menu so full of choices it was hard to choose from. The service was knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion with private areas for a group. We had dinner with friends and enjoyed an evening sampling our dinner choices. Everything we ordered was delicious!

While visiting Dallas last week, a friend, who lives in the Addison area, said, "If you like Chinese food, you will love this place!" and she was right. May Dragon is a locally owned restaurant located in a strip mall with hands on management by the former mayor and his charming wife. Seating was prompt. Friend suggested the crispy tomato... More

We went to the May dragon for a team lunch. I liked their ambience a lot. Each party seemed to have their own space to sit in without getting disturbed by others. I ordered a Shirley Temple which was really good. Their hot and sour soup and free appetizer were good. I tried their schezuan chicken and fried rice. Both... More

A very unfortunate evening that could have been avoided with a few simple words when asking if we could make a reservation..."so sorry, we are fully booked." Instead, we endured a 35 minute wait to get seated, a 20 minute wait to get water (our one and only glass of the night) and another 20 minute wait to order our... More

Restaurant ambiance was great and even live piano music was pleasant. Food was good and was as ordered But there were things as the service that was lacking. Minor though they are, those detracted from our experience. No water on the table or offered after we ordered our drinks. The fried crisps were on the table but with out the... More

My wife and I purchased a Groupon for May Dragon. We had never heard of it before so we did not know what to expect. My wife ordered the sesame chicken and I had the orange beef. The sesame chicken was great and that was the best orange beef I have ever had. The service was what you would expect... More

The hot and sour soup was okay. The crab rangoon was awful. The wrappers were so heavy and doughy that the filling was completely overwhelmed. I love mu shu chicken, but the plum sauce was cloyingly sweet. My husband's dish included overcooked shrimp. The service was slow and inaccurate (we were initially presented with another table's entrees). There are too... More

It looks a little upscale, but the prices didn't indicate that. The food was outstanding. The piano player was a very nice touch. We definitely will return there.
