Great Vibe

I was recommended this restaurant for being a really good steak house. Our Server, Jackson was great. Giving a full detail of the different types of cuts of meat, he was thorough of his explanation and gave great recommendations. I had the prime age ribeye, medium rare, very tasty with the noodle... read more

This was our first trip back to Nick & Sam's in several years. We had fond memories of prior visits and we know that the place enjoying a great reputation. We were eager to compare it to some of the other great steakhouses in the DFW Metroplex. First, the place is very, very loud, and the seating arrangements are not... More

Had a very enjoyable dinner their stakes and service are very good, late Sunday dinner was their last day of restaurant week, excellent value, very good quality a very good in meal the last couple of weeks where I sampled half a dozen restaurants. Service at the bar was supper friendly and starting with an complementary caviar appetizer was their... More

Dining at Nick and Sams can best be described as dining in the midst of a riot. We were made to wait 30 minutes after our reservation time until a table was found. We were ushered into an enormous room packed with tables cheek by jowel with an open Kitchen at one end. The din and noise level was incredibly... More

I've been there a few times and the service was never great, but the last time I went, it's gotten worse. I'm never coming back again. When you are paying that kind of money for dinner, the service should be part of the experience. Having to deal with a waiter who is rude and acts like he's doing you a... More

I enjoy fine dining. I can honestly say that this restaurant is the most overpriced steakhouse I have ever visited, and the quality and taste does not justify the price. I had the cold water lobster appetizer and found the dipping sauces to be extremely salty. My steak (a filet) was average at best, and the meat was not flavorful.... More

We went to Nick & Sam's by recommendation for our wedding anniversary. It's in a really old dark building with only valet parking. We went around 6 pm on a Saturday night. It was quiet for about 30 minutes. We sat right next to the kitchen which is open. It's set up similar to an old diner, where you can... More

We made a reservation for our 48th wedding anniversary. We arrived on time and found the restaurant crowded and disorganized. There were probably 30-45 people being warehoused because there were no tables. We waited 65 minutes to be seated. It was clear, the restaurant had decided to cater to larger parties at the expense of normal guests and the staff... More

I was staying across the street and my hotel said a Wednesday early evening I would not need a reservation. The two of us walked over after flying 4 hours for an early dinner. The gals at the hostess desk looked us over and said they were booked, however we could walk several blocks to their more casual restaurant!!First of... More

Went for our 4 year anniversary dinner. Was expecting a nice quite dinner, it was the opposite. Load music, loud people, drink where so strong you couldn't drink them. For the $145 price tag it was not worth it. I have had better steaks at Outback.
