Good atmosphere. Good bar. We arrived a little early and had a drink in the bar. The place was packed at 6 pm on a Tuesday. We were seated about 6:30 and the restaurant was packed by 7 or 7:30. The food and service was good but a little overhyped. For the money, I think there are better steakhouses in... More

I was in Dallas solo for 1 night and researched Steakhouses thoroughly. I chose Nick and Sams and spent 250 bucks for a mediocre meal. Service was good and everyone was friendly and eager to please. My waitress was clearly trained to promote the establishment. "every wine was personally selected by our som." And, "we are 1 of only 2... More

Four of us had dinner here and found it to be a very up scale restaurant which caters to those on expense accounts or those who are celebrating very special occasions. The atmosphere was extremely nice. The service was extremely good but as we were early we had the feeling the waiter was anxious for us to order so the... More

Nice atmosphere. Most well looking and dressed girls in Dallas. Food excellent but pricey. Problem with the reservations. Every time we reserve a table it takes about one hour to sit at the table. Excellent service. Best steaks in Dallas.

Great wine list, great steak. Make sure you book as this restaurant was packed on a Wed night. I had the tuna with avocado, cotton candy and peanut sauce. Sounds crazy but was absolutely delicious. Try it. The steak was excellent. Sides are good (& expensive). The chef comes to your table and asks guests to cut into their steak... More

My wife and I had dinner here and the food was excellent. The steaks were especially good. We were recommended this place by our hotel (The Stoneleigh) and were not disappointed. The servings were generous and tasty. The wine list is extensive and being from Australia I am not over familiar with the wines but our waiter steered us in... More

Here's the deal - I like top notch restaurants and I don't mind paying good money for value. I came here recently on a businesstrip with some colleagues after a recommendation from our hotel. The place looks fabulous. It has a nice buzz. The staff is insanely attractive. Our Server had personality and was entertaining. The presentation of the various... More

Having researched the Dallas steak restaurants on trip advisor I booked the restaurant well in advance and I chose to be seated in the back room of the restaurant which was close to the bar as it was meant to be less noisy which it was. We arrived at the restaurant on the 30th December after a 10hr flight from... More

I would not recommend Nick & Sam's. The people who are writing reviews with "superb", "fabulous experience" etc... are the ones that are paying off the manager to sit when they don't have a reservation. This was the most ridiculous site I have seen in Dallas. We saw this happened three times while we waited. We had 8:00 p.m. reservation... More
