On Valentine's, If You Suze, You Lose

Their customers on these special nights experience something less than the vaunted food and service they read about on sites such as this. My wife and I have been going to Suze for many years and the food is always high quality. Chef owner Gilbert Garza is a wonderful person and creative chef. The menu is straight forward and the best of everything. The beef tenderloin (star anise) is the best, as is the salmon and the trout. Equally enjoyable is the staff.... More

We stopped in without a reservation, but were able to get a table. It had been a couple of years since we had been here. Our waitress, tara, was excellent. She was great at recommending menu items. We had wine and beer. Good wine selection. Lots of people brought their own wine--I think the corkage fee is $25. We started... More

Enjoyed great food and service once again! Party of 8 enjoyed a tremendous meal during the holiday. Service was exceptional with our waiter making a special salad, not on the menu, for one of my guests. All our entrees were fantastic, on time with right spacing between the starter. Anything we asked for was provided with no hesitation. We brought... More

This restaurant has apparently changed management several times. We ate there 12/24 and were stunned by the grossly over priced wines; one expects a mark up but I estim 4-5 mark up ?. The food was good, limited menu ( appetizers and desserts )but the grossly over priced wines equaled a real turn off. On top of that, restaurant was... More

We have been to this restaurant twice this month because the first visit was so amazing. I have been in the past but was really blown away by the food recently. We went with a couple who likes to bring their own wine which was lots of fun because they let you do that here.I started with a great salad... More

If you have a flight from Love Field and want to catch an upscale dinner, this is a good place to go. Decked out romantically, the food is very good and there is a great wine list and bar. You can't see the place from the street. It's tucked in a shopping center next to an Albertson's supermarket. On my... More

Suze is an absolute gem. The unassuming facade in a strip center next to an Albertson's gives way inside to a warm and friendly bistro with a quiet jazz feel. Most of the patrons on any given night are return customers. It seems like about a third of everyone there knows each other, and the attentive staff knows everyone. The... More

Located in a corner of a shopping center anchored by an Albertsons this small spot offers food that far exceeds its outward appearance. Spot itself is pleasant but not ostentatious, service friendly and the food variety should meet any taste. Preparation is imaginative and taste is excellent. If in the Love field area or anywhere along this section of Northwest... More

We have been to Suze 3 or 4 times. Service is always friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Menu is short, but everything I have had so far has been delicious. We live nearby and will be making this a regular stop.
