I almost feel bad that I haven't tried this restaurant sooner. Everything at the French Room was flawless. The service, decor, every bite was decadent, all the food was a pefect temperature. How nice to have such a fine restaurant in your backyard. Wed had the perfect table for two in the corner that had doors to the lobby as... More

Absolutely fell in love with the elegant French Room at the Adolphus. It is old-world formal and relaxed at the same time. It is a pity that there are not more restaurants with a strict dress code. The food was excellent, as were the attentive staff and service. No wonder, it is considered the best restaurant in Texas. We chose... More

The setting is hushed and formal. The food is sublime and the wine is an equal match. We went on a Saturday night where everyone, including us, it seems is celebrating a birthday, anniversary or the fact that they just won lotto (this place aint cheap). We opted for the 7 course tasting menu... and although I wish they were... More

I had the opportunity to dine here with three coworkers / friends this week during a conference. I figured after all this time, I had to try the #1 restaurant in town. Starting with the Adolphus staff keeping the car up front for easy exit at the end of the evening; precise directions on finding the restaurant within the fabulous... More

I had a great time here for dinner. The wait staff is very attentive and the venue is beautiful. Felt like I was in a dream slash palace. I had the jumbo lump crab cake, halibut, and sorbet. A total winner on all three accounts. The drive is challenging since downtown Dallas is all one way streets and if one... More

We spent our anniversary here and ordered the chef tasting menu with wine pairing. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The dining room itself is absolutely beautiful. It felt very romantic and perfect for a special occasion. The lobster beet bisque was one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. There were a few minor... More
