My wife and I frequent great restaurants all over the world and certainly enjoy terrific options continuing to grow in D/FW. But we had never made it to the French Room and are so glad we did. The beautiful room instantly takes you to Europe. The welcome and service people are gracious and make you comfortable at once. The menu... More

The Adolphus Hotel, in Dallas, ain't what it used to be, in fact the rooms are deplorable and the front desk actually rude, but The French Room is still all that and more. When you step into this gorgeous dinning room you are immediately transported to the salons of Paris. Beautiful colors, spaced tables and green marble floor, along with... More

I took the wife to the French Room this weekend for our wedding anniversary dinner. Overall, the food was excellent. We went with the three course offerings. I requested wine parings for two of the three courses which perfectly matched the varying dishes. The actual dining room is quiet exquisite and a historical experience worth the visit. Very elegant dining... More

Our family enjoyed a holiday dinner in the French Room at the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas. The room is beautiful, service perfect and the food as always was delicious with exquisite presentations. Two of us wanted the tasting menu and pairing but we did not want the sparkling wines. The sommelier presented other pairings that were interesting and complimentary to... More

The restaurant is located in the Adolphus Hotel built in 1912. The decor is amazing and certainly unique. The service is traditional French and so is the food. The flavors are well balanced. The cost is modest considering the five courses on the tasting menu. The quality of the wine served with the tasting menu was suboptimal but the wine... More

Surprised my wife for our anniversary and had dinner and I was surprised myself at how incredible the experience was. The staff was excellent, the presentation great and then the food was amazing! Very glad to have visited and had such a romantic night. Best we have visited so far in DFW and will definitely be back for more.
