My husband and I took my niece and her husband to The French Room for her 30th bday. It was a marvelous treat for us all! Yes, you must dress fancy, but that is why it is so special. The service was perfect and not over-bearing at all. It is pricey at $80 per person for appetizer, entree and dessert.... More

Dear Guest, What a grand and memorable way to celebrate your niece's thirtieth birthday. We are delighted that you and your family had a wonderful time. You are quite right about the attire. Sometimes people forget that they are part of the ambience, and it's only good manners to dress appropriately when dining out. Thank you for sharing your story.... More

I've eaten many times in the French Room, and every time I am transported back to a more beautiful existence - when ceilings were painted and windows were draped, and servers were soooo excellent and willing to please! The meal was excellent in every way - visual experience, combination and creativity of items, and divine taste!

I'm telling you, it's like an escape from the reality of life. Once you sit down you've entered a place where you escape the druge that just everyday life brings. The attention from the wait staff, the beautiful room, the delicious food, again a wonderful dining experience.

Food was delicious and beautifully plated. Service was excellent. This place is expensive and it isn't necessarily the most amazing food you've ever had, but it is delicious and it's worth the wonderful experience.

I took my two cousins, my uncle, aunt and my five year old son to the French Room to celebrate my younger cousin's graduation. The French Room is an interesting anachronism in the modern world - a place where the men has have to wear jackets and no-one can wear jeans or trainers. Even my five year old son had... More

We ate here with some friends. We enjoyed every aspect. The décor is old and classy. Lots of high ceilings and antiques. The service was ultra friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding.
