A Long-Time Friend Finding A New Generation

Let's face it: The Grape has been around a long time. But it hasn't stood still. We've had our share of anniversaries here over the years. Not knowing its history with us, our 20-ish offspring suggested it as a place for brunch for a family birthday. We had to smile as we thought, "Coming Around... read more

Went before a show at the Granada- just up the street. On the pricey side but really fresh food. The menu is built for those who appreciate inventive and good cooking. They have an outdoor patio that is insulated in winter. Our waitress was great- fun/nice, informative. Both had the pasta- very fresh and good. Tables are packed in a... More

Just had dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. Wonderful as always. A perfect site for a cool fall/winter evening. Great food, great servers, great pianist, great martinis!!! Special occasion or simple meal. The Grape is always up to expectations. Now I can hardly wait for weather to enjoy the rooftop

Went here to celebrate our 10th anniversary. It was a birthday for the restaurant and we were planning to have their tasting menu. Since that consisted of octopus and beef cheek, we changed our minds. The remainder of the menu wasn't much better. Overpriced and unappealing. The service was even worse. As far as I can tell, the only thing... More

My wife and I have been eating at the Grape since 1980. It has always provided solid food and good wine choices. If we just want a comfortable place to go for dinner we go to the Grape. Our go to place never lets us down.

We went to this restaurant following the recommendation of a friend who lives in Dallas for many years. First, when we arrived, the hostess was not nice. She told us we were on the way (in the entrance) and to move to the back. We had a reservation but we had to wait 20min... We had no space and the... More

Enjoy the atmosphere, food and wine. The mushroom soup is always a one of my favorite and the daily specials never disappoint me.

GREAT FUN AT THE 4 Cheese/ 4 Wine Tasting! We were here for their regular 4 cheese/ 4 wine tasting. The owner, Courtney Luscher, describes the wines and a local cheese monger, Ali Morgon, describes the cheeses and the pairings. It was great fun and a lovely pre-dinner tasting. If you stay for dinner, they give you 20% off same... More

Service and food consistently good through the years. Brunch or dinner both are an experience! We like dining in the original dining room or on nice days out on the patio.

The Grape has been serving great food for almost 40 years on Lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas. The Sunday brunch features an outstanding burger, but they have many great dishes then as well as at dinner. We've been eating there for almost 40 years and have never had a bad meal.
