I don't get the food, the menu or the attraction? It must be a groupie thing or something because I just don't get it. I go to restaurants to eat really good food, not ooooh and ahhhh over a fancy sounding menu or food plated like it was supposed to be Art Deco or something.

Wife and I were visiting Dallas and we decided to try the Grape. We started with the cheese plate, and were delighted with the assortment of cheeses and sausage. We then split a mussels appetizer and were a little disappointed. The mussels were a little small for our taste. For the main, we split the trout, which was perfect. We... More

Wonderful intimate place with lots of character and an excellent varied menu. Indoor and outdoor seating was available. We had reservations for 3 indoors. I had the blueberry corn cakes with sausage for $8, a proseco mimosa and coffee. The corn cakes came with a little fresh fruit and were perfectly dollar sized, so it wasn't a gigantic portion. Our... From the monthly changing specials to the old standby the grape always pleases. The wine list is a good mix of familiar and some special finds. The wine dinners and cheese nights are a special accent and who can resist the hamburger?

We were very fortunate to be hosted for dinner at The Grape. Our hosts have eaten there frequently for many years. First, we were so happy for the valet parking in a very busy restaurant area. Our dinner was lovely in an intimate setting. Although small, the room did not become too noisy and conversation was easy. We all enjoyed... More

We have been dining at The Grape since 1975, when it was the only action on lower Greenville. The food has, and still is, absolutely outstanding. Unfortunately, last night, April 13, the service was terrible and not in keeping with the usually outstanding service. Our waiter, Jaime C., was not on his game, or maybe he has always been that... Cute, intimate atmosphere. The oxtail hash for brunch was delicious. It's quite busy during brunch hours so service was alright. I've also had dinner here and that was overall pretty good but nothing "wowed" me.

nice place to have brunch in lower greenville. Outdoor seating area is nice and has heaters for chilly days. Burger and biscuits and gravy were good. Not much on the menu if you are looking for lighter options. We were all stuffed and ready for a nap by the time we left. Comfort food for sure, I prefer to have... More

I would suggest not to go here I have given the grape 3 chances and they failed miserably each time. Do I really need to give reasons why? Because I don't think I have to! Stay away it is for older folks who don't have any senses
