Will not return. Cowboy steak was not edible!! Service level has declined and the piano was so loud we could not have a conversation.

Conspired with the Fairmont Hotel staff to make it a truly special evening out. Table covered in rose petals and true romantics as staff.

We had dinner here on a business trip in May 2014. The wait staff was attentive and well trained. The food was excellent and the menu provides many options from steak to seafood. The sides are rather large and should be split with others at the table. It's a little pricey but not overboard.

This is a typical expensive steak restaurant. The portions are huge, so splitting is highly recommended. Two of us had lovel steaks, but paid through the nose for them. Good thing it was a business expense. I would not go here on my own dime!

Great food and atmosphere! The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor seating area. The inside area is dim with candlelight to set the mood. The patio was nice during good weather. The bread was fantastic. I ordered oysters on the half shell and was impressed, although they we're served over a bed of salt instead of ice. The crab cake... More

Everything about this meal was perfect except for one thing. We were seated in a little private room which had absolutely nothing soft in it at all and which meant the room was noisy. Every time I put the glass down on the table, or a server put a plate down, the reverberation was incredible. The servers kept leaving the... More

Attending a conference arranged dinner for 45 people on Saturday night caused some concern going in about the quality and enjoyment factors of a large group dinner, but the staff carried it off nicely.... so well in fact that my wife and I went back on Tuesday night for a dinner on our own (this review). we sat in the... We had the most delightful evening tonight at Dakota. The steaks were perfect, the sides delicious and the dessert marvelous. Our server provided excellent and charming service. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the ambiance. I had my son and his partner with me and so pleased to have such an outstanding experience. The valet service was great and... More

On our last night in Dallas we treated ourselves to a meal at the Dakota and we were not disappointed. The setting itself was unique being in the basement of the huge Ross Tower with part of the restaurant sited outside under street level adjacent to an internal waterfall! We both had starters and then steaks of course which were... More
