This was an underground restaurant! The steak did not need a knife, I could cut it with a fork!!! The best steak I have EVER had! It was pricey, but worth every penny! You must experience this restaurant! Service was excellent!

If you like the ambience of a subterranean restaurant, you will love this restaurant. Unique location and very comfy environs with a fabulous wine list. I thoroughly enjoyed the filet mignon. Awesome flavor cooked to perfection.

Just went to Dakotas steakhouse for the first time and it was awesome. Waiter made good suggestions and the food was incredible. I had a 22oz bone-in ribeye and ate every scrap. The coconut cream pie was the topper... Perfect meal and great atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone for a celebration or nice date night.

The melting in your mouth steak I had or the succulent lamb chops my wife had, there are no about of adjectives that can reinforce the absolutely amazing food, presentation, and service. In a previous review I described the people, who this time presented my wife and I with a signed anniversary card (by the entire staff) and how incredibly... More

Friendly staff, mouth watering steaks that are cooked perfectly to your liking and a 'patio' that is underground make for a delightful night out. Sure you could find a cheaper steak but in a central location in the theatre district it still makes good sense. Love the southern hospitality - you won't leave hungry!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Dakota's recently on a Friday night. Valet greets you and you go down the elevator to a nice courtyard bar area with outdoor seating. The evening was nice so we decided to stay outdoors on the courtyard. We had 7:30 reservations and while early the place was pretty empty for a Friday night. We... More

I recently dined at Dakota's Steakhouse with my son. I have to say that this is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. We both had the field greens salad($10) which was delicious. I had the 8oz. filet($39) that was cooked perfectly. My son had the salmon($28) which was fork tender. We shared a side order of... More

Will not return. Cowboy steak was not edible!! Service level has declined and the piano was so loud we could not have a conversation.

Conspired with the Fairmont Hotel staff to make it a truly special evening out. Table covered in rose petals and true romantics as staff.

We had dinner here on a business trip in May 2014. The wait staff was attentive and well trained. The food was excellent and the menu provides many options from steak to seafood. The sides are rather large and should be split with others at the table. It's a little pricey but not overboard.
