There are many great restaurants in Dallas, but Al's has to be my favorite. I recently visited for my birthday. I had the Waygu Filet with assorted sides. The mushroom risotto is worth the visit all by itself. If you are not a steak person, Al's has a diverse menu - I would suggest the Chilean Sea Bass with Lobster... More

Great selection of Entrees, both, surf and turf. Most tasty steak and shrimp Combo. Good wine and beer selection. Friendly and attentive service. However also pretty crowded and loud.

I understand that some restaurants just have that touch that makes everyone come" it's not about the food or the service. It just "has it" and people come. The Wednesday night we were there it was packed. The decibel level was off the charts. No conversation between more than two people was possible. Our waiter was pretty much non existent.... More

I went here on my own and sat at the bar. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. I really enjoyed the wine and the bar tended remembered my name all the way through dinner. Sat next to a bigshot blowhard who spent a half hour complaining about real estate taxes and used that to name drop every fancy... More

Ok, this is THE place to see and be seen in Dallas. Located on Oak Lawn Avenue, your best bet is to valet park, although I have no idea how those guys do it because it's a tight squeeze. They have remodeled since I was last there and the hostess greets on the left side of the bar. If you... More

Four couples dined at Al Biernat's and all agreed it was one of the best restaurants in Dallas. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The Wagyu beef was tender and perfectly cooked. A bottle of Caravan cab paired well with the steak. We liked the high level of activity in the bar and dining area. It wasn't... More

Since every famous person that visits Dallas is "seen" here, it might seem like a meal here would be a study in pretentious experiences. Completely not true. Every time we dine, we are treated like VIPs. Dressed up, dressed down; it doesn't matter. Food is outstanding & service even better. The professional servers are patient & knowledgeable w the right... More

We were here recently for our anniversary, and mentioned that in our reservation. Upon arriving, they immediately seated us, even though the place was jam packed. They warmly welcomed us and wished us a Happy Anniversary. They provided us with a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate, which was wonderful. Our server was impeccable; polite and friendly, there when we... More

Went with a group of friends on a Friday night. It was packed and yes, it was loud but that was fine with us. Old college fraternity friends and 2 wives for a total of 7. We ordered drinks, apps, dinner, wine and desserts and ALL of it was great!!! Had the prawns appetizer and onion rings (I didn't try... More

A group of us selected Al Biernat's from the Restaurant Week list and were very glad we did. The food was excellent and wait staff was very attentive and pleasant. This was my first visit to the restaurant. We went during the lunch rush, so the restaurant was very noisy but we all enjoyed the meal anyway. I would definitely... More
