Wonderful fun very busy place. They serve family style so its best for large groups because too much food is served for a table of 2 and you'll go home with lots of food in a bag. The service is wonderful. The bar is much too small of area.

Three of us get together every year for Restaurant Week and this year we picked Al B's. On Oak Lawn with only valet parking. We were taken to a table that was in the back where it was so quiet. Very nice table. I ordered the Crab & Corn Chowder (Outstanding), the Sliced Wagyu Sirloin, Kale Salad with Beets, Parsnips,... More

We were there for dinner with a party of six on a Sunday night during restaurant week. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Restaurant week price was excellent. But the round booth we were in was too tight because the table cannot be moved and was slightly too big or too off-center... More

For such a pricey dining establishment, our party was disappointed by the speed at which we were pushed through our (albeit delicious!) meal. Before we had even finished our salads, the steaks were on the table. Plates were cleared before everyone had finished eating. Fine dining establishments rarely present this type of rushed service, and we were very disappointed. While... More

We decided to go for steak at about 7:30pm so I called Al Biernat’s and they said they had an opening at 8pm. We valeted the car which was very quick and the only real option. We walked in and asked to wait just a couple of minutes. We were actually seated within a couple of minutes. We were seated... More

Go to Al's for great food and great service and you'll never be disappointed. Their steaks are very good and always cooked properly to temperature. I like mine medium, not medium-rare (which often comes out rare) and it comes out medium. A small thing perhaps, but I enjoy precision when I order a steak that good. The menu is not... More

We had a business dinner for a total of five guests. I usually avoid steak houses in the US as I have been usually disappointed with the way the meat is grilled. I find that they are often burned on the outside and raw inside and the meat doesn't taste as good as it should. This time, advised by one... More

Restaurant was great. Service, food and wine list are second to none. Little pricey but well worth it. Had the filet, smashed potatoes for dinner and a fantastic cream pie.

Second time to eat here and really loved it. I find the steaks to be really tender and come out exactly as ordered. The sides are big enough to share, which I like as well. Service was not as good as the first time - waiter had several tables - but the person who fills the water glasses, runs food,... More
