Our steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The actual piece of meat was not as good as what I can buy at my local grocery store. The Brussels Sprouts were cooked nicely, but were untrimmed and were huge (meaning they were tough and woody). The au gratin potatoes were cubes of potato in a cheese sauce (akin to what... More

My girlfriends and I often come here for happy hour. They truly have the best wait staff--friendly, courteous with a sense of humor. Happy hour prices for drinks and appetizers are great.

With all the hype, I thought I would be blown away by this place. Instead, we enjoyed a nice, decent meal for 2 that does not make me forget other steakhouses like Pappas Brothers. Not sure why this place didn't stack up, the service was great, the interior acceptable and the wine list extensive, but it doesn't make me forget... More

This restaurant was recommended by Didi at the Ritz. He said it has the best steak in Dallas. He was right. Fun interior, a bit loud, but fabulous food.

Invited a group of six out to dinner to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. I let her choose the restaurant and she chose her favorite, Al Biernat's on Oaklawn in Dallas. I was delighted because it is one of my favorites, also. Al always stops at our table and makes us feel special, even though none of us are pro... More

Al's Salad is literally the best salad I've ever eaten. Sea Bass is good. Scallops are excellent with the risotto. Good service. Always excellent food.

This is a great Dallas restaurant. The food, wine list and service are superb! It is expensive but very much worth the visit. You will not be disappointed. Use the valet parking. Look around and be ready to see Dallas celebrities particularly on a week night. If the restaurant is full it will get noisy. Other than that have a... More

Dallas is a food-loving city. Good restaurants and good chefs come and go. Al Bernat's restaurant has been a go-to place for 10-15 years and the quality has not diminished. Good food, large servings (consideri sharing)..... and you may see someone you recognize. I've been several times over years and never been disappointed, even if we had to wait a... More

We have been there several times for brunch and it was delicious. Service is always great. Went there for my mother's 81st birthday and they treated her like a queen and helped her celebrate.
