Excellent oysters and a good happy hour

One of my favorite evenings is to sit at the bar and order excellent oysters on the half, which are sitting right in front of you. Side of hash-browns and a glass of wine makes for a nice dinner. All is served with hot out of the oven sourdough bread and butter. Fun vibe.

My wife and I eat here several times a year and always have a good experience. Our most recent dinner was exceptionally good. We started with a Caprese Salad that had some of the best tasting tomatoes we have had in Texas. The dressings were a great compliment and the Mozzarella was really good. Our entrees were even better. My... More

Enjoyed grazing on several starters. Wonderful selection of oysters - flavorful and clean! Lobster Bisque is not to be missed -- so rich and creamy.

The seafood at this restaurant is good, but not great. For the prices they charge, you expect the food to be phenomenal. The decor and atmosphere are good. The service was prompt and very helpful when it came to deciding on an entree. Loved the Lobster Bisque. The sea scallops were a tad on the fishy side.

The best part of the meal was the bread. It had a lovely crisp outside texture with a yummy soft, sponge-like center. I had salmon from the Chefs' Selection. The salmon, although moist, lacked flavor. Two other members in my party had lobster and both were not impressed. The cream corn was good. I didn't have any calamari but the... More

Had the opportunity to host a business dinner at Oceanaire in Dallas and it was impressive as always. Our waiter Nate was a rock star, from helping people make decisions on what to order, to suggesting the perfect sides to compliment our meals and then actually creating a dessert to satisfy a rather picky eater. A truly wonderful experience!

I took my girlfriend here for a Valentine's Day dinner. The service was amazing. We were caught in traffic and might had been late, however after a simple phone call they pushed back the reservation 15 mins & said if need be to call again. Unfortunately, the food is way overpriced (my expectation from a place like this). The food... More

My wife and I ate here on a Saturday night with two friends who come here regularly. They rated it the best seafood restaurant in Dallas, and I now agree. The crabcakes are the best I have ever eaten - almost no filler and virtually all crab. They have a wide and varied menu and their fresh fish and oyster... More

The seafood is flown in Fresh daily. The service rivals that found in New Orleans. The managers used to be wait staff and WILL get you seated and see you are happy!

Best menu in fine dining. We have worked through all the mainstays of fine dining here: Oysters Rockefeller, filets, lobster, hamachi, scallops and each time they are always perfectly prepared but we leave feeling remiss for neglecting their very unique fish dishes which are center of the menu towards the bottom. These ever changing and rare fish dishes are always... More
