A nice place to be

A nice place to be, very good atmosphere and attentive service. Refined dishes, tasty and gourmet flavors. I had some meatloaf as appetizer and the quail to follow. Amazing plate. High quality deserts as well! Don't miss it!

Hatties is a mainstay in the Bishop Arts District with an elegant, upscale atmosphere (white linens) and down-home southern cuisine with a twist. Best choices: fried green tomato sandwich, 5-cheese mac&cheese, fried chicken, and chicken salad sandwich. A great way to spend an afternoon!

Hattie's has become our favorite place to bring visitors. The restaurant is elegant and the food is spectacular. We moved to Dallas a year ago and were brought to Hattie's on our recruiting trip. The perfect place for a quiet conversation over great food and wine. Since then we've brought each of our NY visitors, all of whom recall it... More

Had dinner with clients at their suggestion tonight. Excellent meal. Had several of the appetizers including the crab cake and the figs. For an entree I had the chicken stuffed with goat cheese. Everything was excellent. Good meal and service its on my list for Dallas now. Well worth going to if you are in the area. I would definitely... More

I have to admit, this is the best brunch I have ever had. From service to food it was great. Please make a reservation because wait times are crazy. Everyone is trying to get in. I could go on and on about this place! I ordered the shrimp and grits as well as a Bloody Mary. The shrimp and grits... More

This place has fabulous southern food. We started with the beet sald and prosciutto wrapped mission figs, had the best friend chicken ever! It has a very inviting ambiance, and the staff was very helpful. Atmosphere is classic and bright. Highly recommend!

Hattie's reminds me of eating at some nice, small restaurants in the back streets of New Orleans and on the square in Oxford, Mississippi. Good southern food (manageable portions), nicely plated and with served with a smile. Although Bishop Arts doesn't generally require dressing up, you'll want to wear a nice shirt and dress slacks. It's just a respectable thing... More

I visited with three friends and each of us chose a different menu selection. All of us raved about our choices. Mine was the fried green tomato sandwich with bacon and pimento. It was a very thick sandwich that also included avocado...delicious. One of my table mates had a "special of the day" tenderloin on top of a cheese grit... More

It was the first time for both of us celebrating the birthday of one. We chose a weekday lunch as it was the best option for us. We were there a bit early and were escorted in a few minutes before the 11:30 opening hour, and seated right away. It is simply elegant, with an interesting menu and very good... More

Our entire dining event was 5 start. From our initial greeting by none other than the owner himself, to the excellent service, clear clean atmosphere and great food, this was a truly pleasant experience! Foods that were obviously made from scratch to real key lime pie (I'm from Key West), my taste buds tingled with delight. Want to impress your... More
