I've been to Hattie's a couple times. Both times everyone in the group really enjoyed their meals and the special cocktails. The desserts are unique and delicious. Bishop St is worth the drive from downtown both for great food at Hattie's and then lots of shops to stroll through after.

The atmosphere at Hattie's was perfect. I had my 34th birthday brunch here and the food was out of this world great. The management and owner were absolutely rude, inconsiderate, and the most unprofessional group of people I have ever seen. I had over 15 guys to attend and everyone except one of our guest were pleased with their food and drinks.... More

We were in Dallas for a weekend getaway and discovered this little Gem. Lovely restaurant!! A very welcoming atmosphere with classic southern charm! The service was just right, and the food was PERFECT! Started off with a few appetizers bacon wrapped oysters, fried green tomatoes, and delicious figs. The soup & salad was next with tomato bisque, caesar salad and... More

Finally got the opportunity to try genuine "Shrimp and Grits" and it was excellent. As was this restaurant. Great food, service and ambience. Well worth a visit.

I love the atmosphere and the food looked delicious but the food was so bland. I had the fried green tomatoes and the fried chicken salad... not much flavor. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich which tasted mostly of mustard.

Food is a little pricey but worth the visit. The fried chicken taste just as good or better than Grandma's homemade fried chicken. I had the fried chicken over a salad. Scrumptious!! Romantic and full of light décor. Feels very upscale but not snobbish. Come early for lunch but they do take reservations. Same for dinner.

This is located in the Bishop Arts district. We were seated right away, and started with the fried green tomatoes which were pretty tasty. I had the fried chicken salad and my friend had the mac and cheese and a soup. The decor in here is pretty cute but the food was just average for us.

Hattie's will not disappoint. Good looking place, friendly and efficient service AND the food is fabulous. The wedge salad and beet salad are tops. Their appetizers are all yummy. Had the prosciutto wrapped mission figs--Devine. The lamb ragout is outstanding. Would have the salmon again and again. Then take a walk along Bishop Street and go into some of the... More

Hattie's has been the restaurant anchor of the Bishop Arts District for over 10 years and its food continues to satisfy. Whether it is a fried green tomatoes and grilled chicken sandwich for lunch or tomato bisque soup and grilled salmon for dinner, the food is always tasty and with a bit of upscale southern verve. It has a very... More

Since Hattie's was rated one of the top 100 restaurants by Dallas magazine and a contemporary twist on southern food sounded great, we made a reservation for three on a Saturday evening. I was excited about the menu and could not decided on a few items alone for entree. We ordered the Mac & Cheese crusted filet of beef, Bacon-wrapped... More
