Description: Gloria's Restaurant was founded in the Oak Cliff district of Dallas, Texas...
Gloria's Restaurant was founded in the Oak Cliff district of Dallas, Texas on April 15, 1986 by Gloria and Jose Fuentes, two young Salvadorians who had recently come to the United States. Featuring an artful blend of their native Salvadorian cuisine with regional Mexican and Tex-Mex favorites, Gloria's became a hit with restaurant critics and Dallas natives alike. As the years passed, the need to grow was inevitable - as Gloria's would open 15 restaurants across Texas including Austin and Houston. Known for the finest in Latin Cuisine, Gloria's has also received many awards, including Best Margarita, Best Appetizer, Best Happy Hour and Best Salsa Music (Salsa dancing is featured on weekend nights at 4 different locations). Gloria's is more than just a restaurant. It's an overall Latin experience with handcrafted food and beverage so full of flavor it reduces the diner to a state of bliss.

Always a fun place for drinks and food

Always enjoy going to Gloria's for margaritas and food. Fast service and reasonable prices. Different than traditional Tex Mex food, great black bean dip and chips

I have been to a few of the Gloria's and they are always consistent with the quality of their food. My fave are still the sour cream enchiladas- never fail.

Check out the happy hour drinks with you late lunch or early dinner. OK or just because you deserve a happy hour. Margaritas and mojitos are exceptional and a price you will love. The food is also exceptional if you don't fill up on chips and salsa.

We had dinner at Glorias on my daughter's suggestion. At first I was a little intimidated because it was a Friday night and it looked more like a date night restaurant. But was pleasantly impressed at the family/friend gathering spot atmosphere. The price was not bad, the ambience was nice, and the food was delicious. There is a wide variety... More

This was a very lucky find. It was my favorite restaurant on Greenville--outdoor dining under beautiful trees. The food was delicious and creative, but not too weird or too spicy. The drinks were particularly good also and reasonably priced. This would make an impressive first date location. I would definitely come again.

Gloria's is a staple in Dallas, many locations. Their house margarita is 4.50 all day and one of the best I have had. Mario, a house bar tender has been there awhile. He remembers every time what we drink....that's service. Shredded chicken tostadas are great. Chips with salsa and black bean dip are staples. Frequent visitor!

I had my birthday here with some close friends. Great service and the best margaritas in town. This place is one the true original mexican food venues in Dallas.

Stopped by to have lunch with my cousin and his Realtor on a recent visit to Dallas. Loved the house margaritas (unusual for me) and salsa and chips...and really loved the food. The decor is stylish with a great outdoor seating area (too hot for me this trip). The service was excellent even with a fairly full restaurant. I really... More

We just decided to try Gloria's as we saw it while looking for a lunch stop. The restaurant is technically a Salvadoran, but offers Tex-Mex dishes as well. Decor is inviting. Staff is extremely attentive and sincerely friendly. I felt like I was in a 4 star restaurant. This location has a very good air conditioner, which keeps the establishment... More
