It got the 1 star by default and the wings I ordered were pretty good. I also ordered sausage parm w/ pasta. It was absolutely disgusting. The sausage was definitely old, dry and hard. The "sauce" was disgusting. I took two bites and threw it in the trash. I will never go here again.

I have been here the last two times I have been to Dallas. I had a craving for Veal Parmesan and I am happy to say it is very good at Sal's. The staff is polite and prompt. It is nothing fancy and is definitely a "local's" place, which is a plus. The servings are nice, so be prepared to... More

Sal's tells us that their meatballs are fresh everyday but are they frozen or are they mixed with some other meat? ?? They are the worst meatballs I have ever eaten and I will never recommend them to anyone. Extremely disappointed.

This place use to be a great hole in the wall family run pizza joint. Pretty much a lot is the same, but the prices have gone up a lot. Pretty normal. It's crowded, tables pushed together, and noisy. Today I wasn't as thrilled as I have been in the past but overall I would go back. Just order the... More

Sal's is the perfect Italian Family restaurant. A Dallas icon, serving locals for years, Sal's offers all your favorites, consistent service and quality with a family feel. A huge menu to please every member of the family, it is a Sunday night staple for our family and great for large parties. We always start off with the fried shrimp and... More

Sals Restaurant on Wycliff Avenue in Dallas was good and favorable, the marinara sauce was good and not as acidic as other pizzerias are, which is a good thing - it wasn't salty - which is good. My husband had Stromboli and I had the pasta sampler and it was good but not as hot as I had expected so... More

I went their for a quick lunch with my kids. The pizza was ok. I certainly wont rave about it. Although the staff was very nice and so was the manager.

A colleague of mine an I went to Sal's restaurant on Wycliff Avenue in Dallas. We were skeptic at first when we saw the little mall where it is located but we were absolutely delighted once we got in. A hole in the wall but what a great hole! I had the Tortellini Alfredo and my colleague the Linguine Alfredo;... More

Great hole in the wall pizza joint! delivery, dine in or take out. The meatball subs are some of the best!
