My wife and I decided to try The Butcher Shop after I purchased a discount gift certificate online for the restaurant. We decided to go on a Saturday night around 7:30 pm. Actually, my wife and I ate here in the middle of the transition. The sign on the building still said "The Butcher Shop Steakhouse", but the receipt was labeled "808 Steak and Wine." (I believe it refers to the "808 Munger" address.) The place is not inexpensive, but for a nice steakhouse in downtown Dallas I would have to say... more
