Description: Lavendou, a retreat into the French countryside - a place where life is savored as much as the food. Lavendou is thoroughly French, from the inviting decor to the gracious service and authentic cuisine. But don't expect it to be pretentious. Owner Pascal Cayet is dedicated to providing service that is friendly and efficient. And you will find Chef Francois Soyez's menu to be deliciously approachable. Serving the lighter fare of Southern France, Lavendou offers many items to tempt your taste buds.

This is truly a great place to impress your date or just have a great night out. The food was prepared so carefully, my steak was exactly as ordered, the service was incredible. Did I tell you the food (and the choices) are excellent! Excellent wine list!

It is always a wonderful experience to visit. All of the staff and management is friendly. Our glasses and bread basket are always full. Service and food are very good. We order escargot every time and try something new for the entree. We have enjoyed everything so far. The lavender tea is addictive.

Went to this restaurant as they were participating in the Restaurant Week event. A portion of the proceeds goes to the local food bank. The restaurant was very busy, as expected for Friday night. We had reservations and were seated after a brief wait. The staff were very attentive and the food was cooked perfectly. I will definitely return. I... More

"Lavendou" sounds very French, and the earthy mustardy yellow awning outside the restaurant (photo attached) imparts a French Provence flair. The restaurant has quite a few rooms and tablecloths are in various yellow, blue Provincial patterns. The service are attentive and efficient. Most dishes we ordered did not appear to be specifically cooked in Provence style though. Nevertheless, lamp chops... More

The food was very good but a little pricy. I would recommend this for special occasions. Though we had lunch, I think it would make a romantic date night. Lovely French atmosphere.

We've been going to Lavendou for years, and every time we fall in love all over. You feel like part of Paschal's family because he and his staff are magnificent at everything. We can't wait to go back. Tonight's dinner: Lobster bisque Steamed muscles- best thing on the menu NY strip Duck Soufflé- chocolate with raspberry sauce I read an... More

Quaint French provincial restaurant with great atmosphere (inside or outside), terrific service, and fantastic food. Please, please, please try the fried goat cheese salad. Wonderful! And the strawberry soufflé is extraordinary! And everything in-between is more than delicious! The service is fantastic!

We dined here recently and could not have been more pleased with our experience. We had to change the time of our reservation, was not a problem at all. The service staff was very professional and allowed us to linger over our delicious dinner. The escargot were the best we had ever had any where. The Tournedos Felix Faure and... More

It is a lovely country French styled restaurant -- exposed brick, rush seated chairs, the blue and yellow fabrics. I've met girlfriends for lunch -- thoroughly enjoyed it -- and have gone for high tea, which is wonderful. I dropped the rating one notch because of Valentine's Day. I made reservations weeks in advance and checked on it a week... More

We visited this French Restaurant based upon D magazine top restaurant. This place sits off into the back of the strip center. The patio was very well kept with white table cloth. The solo waiter did not want to seat us in our requested table at 1st. Insisting further he relented. Another older couple was not successful. They wanted the... More
