Description: Savor the finest cuts of steaks, chops and fresh fish cooked to perfection...
Savor the finest cuts of steaks, chops and fresh fish cooked to perfection in a relaxed, elegant atmosphere at the chef-owned Y.O. Steakhouse and discover for yourself why Jim O’Connor of the Food Network declared the Y.O. Steakhouse as, “one of the nation’s finest steakhouses.” The beef at the Y.O. is U.S.D.A. Prime and is hand-cut in house. In preparing our steaks and other meats we employ a method very similar to the one the ranch hands have been using for more than 125 years. Seasoned with our own brand of herbs and spices, our meats are charred on a flat top griddle and then finished by being seared with our secret finishing sauce. This process traps in all the juices, resulting in a succulent, tender steak. In addition, we are legendary for the extensive wild game selection on our menu, and many of those same animals roam freely over our 48,000 acre ranch. For those in the mood to try something out of the ordinary, the Y.O. Steakhouse offers several types of venison, game birds and our signature dish, the buffalo filet mignon. An excellent selection of seafood rounds out the menu. Nightly specials at the Y.O. Steakhouse include lobster, shrimp, salmon, sea bass, tilapia and other fresh fish. Texans are known far and wide for their hospitality and at the Y.O. Steakhouse you will receive the same sincere reception that has made the Y.O. Ranch legendary. The Y.O. servers are knowledgeable, friendly and strive to ensure your dining experience is a memorable, delightful experience. Whether dining or simply relaxing over a cocktail with friends, the Y.O. Steakhouse offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. With its 100-year old brick arches, iron accents and candlelit tables, the main dining room delivers an authentic steakhouse dining experience that is relaxing with a touch of elegance. The Y.O. bar is the perfect spot for enjoying a drink before or after dinner or grabbing a quick bite. The rich, deep wood and historic black and white photos create a comfortable ambiance to enjoy the fully-stocked bar and extensive wine list, including one of the largest half-bottle selections in Texas. Dining on our beautiful patio under Texas Live Oaks and amidst overflowing flower baskets is an excellent option for a casual lunch or dinner while taking in the energetic atmosphere of Market street .The Y.O Steakhouse private dining, bar and banquet facilities, can accommodate parties from 20-300 for business or pleasure, day or night.

Busy, great food, lots of game on menu

Interesting menu with lots of game. Make a reservation or you might wait 1.5 hours, Food was great. It is a small-medium sized restaurant. Everything is ala carte, the sides are huge and sharable.

Went here with a group of 9 guys and were able to be seated without problems around 2 on a saturday afternoon. Our waitress was very personable, friendly, and helpful. I had the pistachio crusted chicken and it was the best chicken dish I have had. The waitress suggested I try a local Texas beer from Revolver called Blood and... More

Three friends for dinner on Thursday night at 7:00pm. My friend who was celebrating his 61st birthday has lunch here periodically and loves the sandwiches. This was my first visit and we were immediately seated per our reservation and the service was excellent. One ordered the buffalo steak medium rare and was liked by the person that ordered but too... I was fortunate to be able to dine here twice while in Dallas. Both meals were exceptionally good and the staff was great. I recommend the Buffalo filet which was juicy and well seasoned. The others in my party had beef filets and strips and were all very happy with the way they were done and fantastic taste. For sides... More

Our meal was delicious. The server was attentive. Try the chicken friend lobster (you won't be disappointed!) Make a reservation as this place is small & tends to get very busy!

Nice place with very good service and good food. Atmosphere was not stuffy but also very nice. Food was good. I had the chicken fried lobster. Sounds weird. Was a bit, but was also good and glad I had it. The vegetable sides were excellent. Good stop within walking distance of the convention center hotels.

While staying at the Hyatt for a trade show we wanted to go off property for a good dinner and we found a fantastic restaurant. Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse is a short walk from the hotel and we were extremely pleased with everything. The service was fantastic, the meal the best I have ever had, and the prices were reasonable for... Dined here for the fourth time in the last 2 years. The service, food and atmosphere are fantastic. Our waiter, Sean Lee, was extremely knowledgeable and was a particular delight to the evening. We had the Rib Eye and the Wild Game Platter. Wild Game Platter consisted of a 4 oz buffalo filet, 2 quail medallions and an axis bone... More

This is the best steak I have had in Dallas. The bacon-wrapped filet is fantastic! The service is also great. Very attentive and helpful. The wine list is great too. Expect to spend some money, but it is worth the expense for a great dinner in downtown Dallas. Be sure to make a reservation!

A close walking spot for business travelers on a "dinner on your own" night. Party of 4 had good food and a fun waiter. Venison appetizer was the pick of the night.
