Description: Savor the finest cuts of steaks, chops and fresh fish cooked to perfection...
Savor the finest cuts of steaks, chops and fresh fish cooked to perfection in a relaxed, elegant atmosphere at the chef-owned Y.O. Steakhouse and discover for yourself why Jim O’Connor of the Food Network declared the Y.O. Steakhouse as, “one of the nation’s finest steakhouses.” The beef at the Y.O. is U.S.D.A. Prime and is hand-cut in house. In preparing our steaks and other meats we employ a method very similar to the one the ranch hands have been using for more than 125 years. Seasoned with our own brand of herbs and spices, our meats are charred on a flat top griddle and then finished by being seared with our secret finishing sauce. This process traps in all the juices, resulting in a succulent, tender steak. In addition, we are legendary for the extensive wild game selection on our menu, and many of those same animals roam freely over our 48,000 acre ranch. For those in the mood to try something out of the ordinary, the Y.O. Steakhouse offers several types of venison, game birds and our signature dish, the buffalo filet mignon. An excellent selection of seafood rounds out the menu. Nightly specials at the Y.O. Steakhouse include lobster, shrimp, salmon, sea bass, tilapia and other fresh fish. Texans are known far and wide for their hospitality and at the Y.O. Steakhouse you will receive the same sincere reception that has made the Y.O. Ranch legendary. The Y.O. servers are knowledgeable, friendly and strive to ensure your dining experience is a memorable, delightful experience. Whether dining or simply relaxing over a cocktail with friends, the Y.O. Steakhouse offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. With its 100-year old brick arches, iron accents and candlelit tables, the main dining room delivers an authentic steakhouse dining experience that is relaxing with a touch of elegance. The Y.O. bar is the perfect spot for enjoying a drink before or after dinner or grabbing a quick bite. The rich, deep wood and historic black and white photos create a comfortable ambiance to enjoy the fully-stocked bar and extensive wine list, including one of the largest half-bottle selections in Texas. Dining on our beautiful patio under Texas Live Oaks and amidst overflowing flower baskets is an excellent option for a casual lunch or dinner while taking in the energetic atmosphere of Market street .The Y.O Steakhouse private dining, bar and banquet facilities, can accommodate parties from 20-300 for business or pleasure, day or night.

Yum! Go if you love well prepared game meats or steaks

Great place to get a steak. I had the Bison Filet, and it was cooked perfectly. The service was great. The restaurant had a western theme and a nice atmosphere. I would definitely return.

Great atmosphere. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Wine list good. The waiter brought me samples which was nice. The sides and salads were good. The filet was a little tough... I do like my meat medium well cooked with pink in middle, it shouldn't of been this tough. Easy walking distance from many hotels in area. Wonderful crime... More

Had a great lunch with friends, with nice ribeye steak and good service. Great finish after you visited JFK Six floor museum.

This restaurant did not stand out to me or my husband when we shopped at Wild Bills. Thank goodness I went back on my free day. The most amazing meat I ever had. I'm a original girl, but said I'm going to try Buffalo. Everything was Amazing.

Having stood on a corner in Dallas and looking at 5 restaurants to choice from I chose YO steakhouse. I had a meal at the bar (freshly cooked tortilla chips and salsa followed by burger). I had forgotten how big the portions are in America, could finish it, but is was perfectly cooked and really tasty. What I liked about... More

Stopped for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly and interested in helping us make our lunch selection. We had the mac-n-cheese with boar sausage(it was fabu-delicious) our steaks were very good--could have used a little less seasoning. A nice dining experience.

Visited this Restaurant while attending a meeting in Dallas. The best decision ever made for a place to eat. Starting with a great service followed by the best Buffalo steak ever eaten with a good bottle of Riesiling, what else can you ask for? Prices are good and the food is absolutely amazing.

Stopped by here whilst looking around the historic west end. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We both had the buffalo burgers and they were very tasty. Good location and we got a table outside so we could see what was around before heading back out

Went in for early dinner and sat at the bar. The server was friendly and we had a great chat about buckwheat! The variety of the food was good, it took me a long time to decide what to order, settled on the elk which was beautifully cooked. Mac and cheese was decedent but well worth it. Tempted to go...
