Good food fast

I came here because of triple D and because its fairly close to the airport. I was seated quickly, and after i ordered, was served quickly. The food was good but not amazing (sorry, i dont remember what i ordered). The chips were good though and the salsa quite spicy. If you are from out of... read more

This restaurant took me by surprise. I was in Dallas on business I googled "Mexican Restaurants" and chose the closest one near me. From the outside I thought am I in the right place? it didn't look like much so I figured I'd give the place a chance. Boy was I surprised their food was fresh and tastefully delicious... love... Heard about this spot on Diner's Drive-In's and Dives, but was unimpressed. Not bad, just not great. Good for a quick lunch if you're in the area, but don't expect anything more than standard tex-mex.

The bread pudding was the best I have ever had. It's enough for two people. I had the triple d plate and would get that again. The waitress was very helpful with the menu and the service was great. I'll go back for sure next time in the the Dallas market.

Good food and great service but don't come here without ordering the bread pudding! Some of the best bread pudding we've ever had! Simply delicious!

The ONLY thing that was bad, its a small family restaurant that is LOUD. Of course if the table beside you has 12 folks, all drinking delicious 'Rita's, then your going to have to talk as loud as them. FOOD: 5 stars. We had a two enchilada plate and a three enchilada plate. Both we Delicious. Heard the Bread Pudding... More

A very small, dated restaurant situated between a couple of auto repair garages but, WOW, the food is good! We had the steak fajitas and the taco salad and also enjoyed chips and salsa.

I had black bean enchiladas, my husband had the pork tacos. Both were delicious, and his side of beans was truly yummy, with really deep flavor. Staff very nice too.

We asked a cop where we could get some great Mexican food and she recommended Avila's. The chips and salsa were great…the salsa had a nice burn. I would have been happy with just that!! I had brisket tacos and they were wonderful! It was really flavorful, moist, and tender. I wish I could eat more now! My husband had... More
