Good BBQ.

We had a combo plate with pulled chicken, pulled beef and the ribs. The food was good, but I have had better. The sauce is very good and served in beer bottles. The onion rings and cole saw as sides were delicious and fresh. The only negative point is that the food was not served very hot. But a... read more

The pulled chicken was great, not dry at all, super tender. The ribs were rockin, the turkey was tasty, the sausage was superb and the pulled pork was perfect. Had macaroni and cheese, cole slaw and nice, hot fresh rolls on the side. The barbecue sauce is delicious, not too spicy, and served warm. Reasonable prices, fast service.

It was too cold and wet for Fort Worth stockyard but we wanted a smoked BBQ dinner, and our friends recommended Sonny Bryans in Lovers Lane. The brisket was excellent, pulled pork very good, ribs less so. Onion rings, fresh rolls, and other veg good, and peach cobbler a la mode filled everybody up. Not luxurious but relaxing. Serves beer.

We had dinner at this restaurant last night and enjoyed it very much. The food was nice and hot and very tasty. The ribs were a big hit with my parents and the combo plate gave you the option to pick a few different meats and sides. The price wasn't too bad. In all, a great little restaurant and would... We'll definable be eating here for lunch again. It's a small and cozy place in the West End and within walking distance of most downtown attractions. There's a parking lot directly behind Sonny Bryan's that costs $8 per day. The prices were a little on the high side for barbecue, but we didn't leave hungry.

this place has the best barbecue in Dallas. I would recommend it to everyone! the best thing on the menu is there a fantic Texas BBQ brisket and the meat potato - get that with brisket as well. the downtown Dallas location is just as good and a little bit cleaner than the original location, the food is equal. Down home hole in the wall BBQ. Great ribs & brisket. Sauce is OK, but the focus is on the meat and it is done right. The facility isn't much to write home about but again, it is all about the food!

Pulled pork was excellent. The barbecue sauce comes heated which is a nice touch, full of flavor. The barbecue baked beans were touch too plain but the cole slaw was excellent.

We stumbled across this gem while being disappointed that other BBQ places are open only for lunch. But fate brought us here. The original interior is unique and not set up for group dining but the two of us shared an old school desk and had a great time.

Staff was very uninterested in me, or anyone else, being there. Wouldn't even talk to you when you were ordering and didn't say thank you. Completely disinterested and had a bit of a smirk on his face. Despite that, I was very hopeful of having some good BBQ. Had the ham and beef. Ham was so-so and the beef was... More
