Met a friend for a drink & snacks at 6pm on a Thur. night 6 days before Christmas, they weren't busy at all. Our waiter was Thomas. Thomas took our drink order: my friend go a Cosmo ($9.50). Per Thomas's suggestion I go the Lavender Martini ($9.75) 'it's very good' he said. It took nearly 10 minutes to get our... More

Our group (a professional association) held am end-of-the year membership drive/happy hour here. Denise (Event Coordinator) was great and our server Jeremy was excellent. The food was very reasonably priced and tasty for a happy hour. They reserved some tabletops for us in the bar area. Downtown Dallas can be confusing at the best of times and the fact that... More

We ate Thanksgiving dinner at Palomino and although the food was good it was very over priced and the service was terrible! This was our second visit but do not think we will be going back.

Ate here twice during our recent stay at the Rosewood Crescent hotel for a Thanksgiving family gathering. It is located in the hotel courtyard and the most reasonably priced venue in the hotel complex. Once was just my husband and me for lunch, the 2nd time there were 13 of us for dinner. Our waiter Thomas was terrific. On-the-ball, helpful,... More

Visited last night for cocktails and a light dinner before a show. The bar is lovely and has a nice vibe. The tvs are a distraction. Service was attentive. Lemon drop was very good; old fashioned was too sweet. Bruschetta was very good. Maytag salad was good; blue cheese made it impossible to taste the salad. Grilled seafood pasta was... More

While the food was good (not a lot for my vegetarian self to choose from, but the appetizers were amazing) they blew it completely for my friend with Celiac Disease. She asked repeatedly whether her roll was gluten free, and the waitress, who couldn't have been nicer, verified with the kitchen over and over that it WAS gluten free. It... More

Had lunch during a conference; the portions were enormous - I don't think I needed both an appetizer and salad! Service great, and unobtrusive, the Lavender Cosmo was to die for! Nice spot, you can sit outside and watch the world go by.

The food is consistently good and the atmosphere pleasing. Go hungry! Portions are generous and they seem to have mastered the preparation of any kind of fish dish. Worth the price and valet parking.
