from the minute you enter this restaurant you just know that you are in for a great experience, the decor and ambience are just superb, the experienced staff know how to make you welcome, putting guests at ease, excellent service backed up with an impressive menu, I should mention the pineapple infused vodka, although I did not try it myself... So, where to begin... First of all, an admission, a confession. I am not Texan. I am not even American. Indeed, my wife and I are (just) a couple of tourists from Sydney/Blue Mountains Australia who have chosen to spend some precious vacation time in Dallas before the 2015 calendar year obligations begin in earnest. However, sometimes it takes an... More

Celebrating Francis and my birthday. We are twins from different parents, and with a 30 years age difference. This was perfect place for celebrating. Nice area of town, very fine establishment, and top notch service! Never realized I could really eat and enjoy Brussel sprouts until enjoying them here. I'm not a real fan of calamari either, but here it... More

The bar staff keeps me coming back; seafood tower should not be missed. Steak au poivre. Lobster mac and cheese.

The Positives: Beautifully decorated, classy atmosphere, well staffed, our personal waiter was very attentive, 8 on overall service, 8 on steaks, delicious lobster mac, great desserts. Negatives: Food was served warm at best, Ceaser Salad was tasteless and room temperature, a couple of items not served with meal were delayed in arriving at the table. Takeaway: As far as high... No wait with reservation. Good service. Lobster bisque was a bit "fishy". Lobster tail was fantastic. Filet was cooked to perfection. Truffle fries with bernaise for dipping was probably my favorite.

The service is excellent here. This is an expensive place. In my opinion, the food taste is not worth the costs. For the money spent, other places offer better food. You get good portions of the meal. Appetizer and Dessert are very good.

Enjoyed my meal a the Capital Grille, but was disappointed that they did not allow ANY substitutions in the menu. All I asked for was a different vegetable (that was offered with another dish). Without any hint of apology, the waiter refused.

I'll give this place 4 stars, mainly for the great salad and dessert. I went here with some colleagues who were looking for a good steakhouse. Once we were seated and saw the menu, we realized it wasn't really a steakhouse... They had a couple steaks on the menu but seemed to be more of a general fine dining establishment.... More
