Good but a little slow in the kitchen

Sat at the bar tonight. Bartender kept me company as I was the only person at the bar. Kitchen was slow but the food was classic Capital Grille. Would go back but the construction obstacles are a nightmare. NY Strip, creamed spinach and a salad, what else can I ask for. Good meal.

Food average/good, service a little too friendly, just another "steak house." If you are staying at the Rosewood Crescent it's fine -- but I would certainly not drive to go here.

Service was excellent. Food was generally very good but the steak was overcooked. The bar was great with engaging bartenders and quality spirits. Expensive as usual.

They seem to have found the recipe for consistency for every time we've gone (5 times here in Dallas, 3 times in Vegas and 8 times in Atlanta) it's always just about perfect. Pricy but you know what you're going to get --- worth the price.

I had the lobster roll and a friend had the scallops. We both had lemonade with mint and everything was excellent. Service was superior.

We celebrated a family milestone here and had such a lovely experience! The food was delicious and attractive, from our soups to our desserts. And the service was the most professional and attentive I've had in ages. (Our waiter seemed to have ESP--he knew what we wanted almost before we did.) Btw, they do a delightful celebratory platter of desserts--... More

Had the opportunity to meet some clients for a 'first meeting' and I selected The Capital Grille as was suggested by a colleague. Had not had the pleasure of visiting this establishment in my various travels to the Dallas area but SO GLAD THAT I DID for this occasion. PreDinner cocktails were fantastic along with the service from the bar... More

My wife and I have been going to The Capital Grille in other cities for a number of years but this is the first trip to this Dallas location. The first piece of advice I would give is be looking for the small valet parking sign as you come down Maple Avenue. The valet parking sign does not say The... More

Great steaks, service and surroundings make for a wonderful date night or business meeting. You see both at this place. Valet parking and it adjoins the Crescent Hotel downtown.
