The food is good. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is nice. But for what you pay, you could find some nicer places in Dallas.

Food is good. The restaurant is quaint and quiet. Service and attitude of staff fell a bit short of what we have grown to expect in the Dallas area.

It was a little hard to find via Google maps on my smart phone and the parking was very busy, but it might be worth the visit. The menu is not too busy and has all of the BBQ favorites from this part of the world. I chose a three meat platter with brisket, pulled pork and smoked turkey breast.... More

Visiting my wife's aunt and uncle and they said we want to feed you some good Texas Barbeque. He was right, it was great. Brisket, turkey, Italian green beans, okra and corn. OMG. This is a must place to eat.

Traveling to Dallas for business left little time to get out and explore and do what I do best... EAT!! I couldn't imagine leaving Texas without getting some of that famous barbecue. At the last minute, literally right before closing, Peggy Sue put together a to-go box for me filled with some pulled pork, slaw, fried okra and peach cobbler.... More

Based on our hotel recommendation we went to Peggy Sue's. the food was great, we had the ribs and sides meal and the serving was not too large which was good. The sides were all good and the broccoli perfect (still crunchy). The peach cobbler was a highlight of the meal.

Simple place but great service, good prices and great Texas BBQ. 5 of us filled our bellies and had a beer for less than $100 Looking forward to the next time

This time was a pleasant surprise. I had not been here for 3 years because last time was so mediocre. This time the sliced brisket was smoky and tender. The turkey was tender and a little smoky. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good. Really liked the non-mayo base for the coleslaw. Good service. It won't be 3 years before I... More

Chose this place because we knew they had vegetable dishes for the vegetarian in the pair! The brisket and turkey were smokey and dry, but the pork was perfect! The okra and squash casserole were delightful! Service was efficient and speedy! We would probably return of we lived here!
