Friendly staff but I would not recommend this restaurant. The food was not that good. Sauce has way too much vinegar. Sliced beef sandwich is very skimpy with about 4 thin slices of brisket that doesnt cover the bun. Potato salad has no taste. Onion rings are greasy and batter falls off the onions.

This place is amazing. It is not at all commercial and is good old fashioned southern hospitality. Service was great, prices were cheap and the food was amazing! It was the best dining experience in Dallas we had. We ended up staying there til close. I could not recommend this place highly enough!

Visiting Texas for work. Decided we had to have BBQ. A coworker took us here and we were all very pleased. I highly recommend the Luscious Brisket and the sausage. The sweet potator tots, were a fun addition to the meal. Friendly waitstaff and golden oldies on the radio.

Parking is a pain in the rear end during the daytime! The food is very good, the service is mediocre, and the salad bar fixins = skip it. Try the fried okra if you never had it before. The sweet potato tots are very good too. We had the chopped brisket and ribs. I noticed for some plates there were... More

I have been by here many times, but never stopped to eat before. It is a cute place, been here a long time, and has a nice menu. I tried the sampler plate with turkey, pulled pork & brisket. It was very good. The veggies are home made & they have 4 types of fried pies that they fry up... More

We had eaten here before and enjoyed our meal. I can say that this return visit was not a disappointment. The meat was tender and the sauce old-style delicious. I had fried okra and a wonderful relish with my sliders: brisket, turkey, and pulled pork. My husband had brisket with onion rings and fries. It was all very good. The... More

Great BBQ and sides from an old time restaurant. Good location in Synder Plaza. Quick and tasty Beef, pork, ribs, chicken & sausage. Eat in or take out. Parking can be a problem.

Ate here recently after my wife decided she had always wanted to try this place. The food and the portions were excellent. Two types of bbq sauce are offered always on the side. I personally didn't care at all for the sauces. But the meats I ordered were cooked and seasoned well enough that I didn't even need any sauce.... More

We ate BBQ four times in five days. This was the best BBQ. The Hopping John beans were really good. We finished the lunch with a fresh fried pie. Oh boy that was good.
