Hidden away in uptown area, this family owned restaurant has served wonderful food for years. Fresh ingredients prepared to order make for a wonderful meal. The crab claws and calamari are a must to start with. The tortellini is a must for my wife while I tend to favor the veal dishes. One tip - don't fill up on the... More

Traveling for business had to get out of my convention hotel. This restaurant was recommended to us and it more than fit the need. Cute little brick building, not too busy on a cold January weeknight. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was quite good. Portions were right sized - enough but not too much. Prices seemed... More

Out of all of my reviews up to this point I would say this place takes the crown. It is hidden in uptown in a small building, possibly an old home. The setting is very romantic and authentic. We were there on a Sunday night of Labor Day weekend and essentially had our pick of tables. We had the crab... More

This Dallas staple has moved from its original location on Cedar Springs (it burned) to the the location by the Quadrangle that used to be occupied by Le Boulmiche. My favorites are the lemon sole and any of the veal dishes, as I am celiac and any form of pasta is a no no for me. The best time to... More

Easier to find than the old location which burned, it is tucked away in uptown. Family owned and operated, they makes you feel like one of the family. The food is fresh and well prepared with family size portions. The service is excellent. We have been going there since the late 1980's. That should tell you something.

I love this place! The food is delicious and there is so much of it! Service is outstanding and we've now vowed never to make a trip to Dallas without stopping in. A beautiful, quiet, romantic spot hidden among the hustle and bustle of downtown.

The portions were large and the flavors were dancing in our mouths. We enjoyed chicken madero which had mushrooms galore. I enjoyed chicken parmesan with shrimp. Great meal, very reasonably priced.

In north downtown area and not on the big convention restaurant list do you can get a table on most days easily By far the best caeser salad I've had in a loooooong time. Other items were good but beware the "diablo" shrimp pasta. Too spicey hot to eat and kept me awake alllllll night.
