Susan gave us GREAT service!!!

Susan gave us amazing service! This is definitely not your average restaurant. I will do my best to sum it up in this review. Women were all well dressed and the men all had coats, sport coats or a blazer. So you might as well dress up than feel out of place. We were originally greeted by... read more

Excellent food. Excellent service. Maybe a slightly more expansive or versatile menu would have been nice, especially for the price. Room service had more to offer.

Truly one of the most memorable meals in a year. The ambiance is calm, easy and a mini vacation in a dining experience! While the Mansion is upscale, it is not stuffy. Very inviting. From the valet parking attendant all the way through to dessert (if you choose) the friendly personal nature of each person encountered is a treat. Service... More

We were invited to the Mansion by friends and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The food and service exceeded my expectations. I recommend a dinner jacket as this is not a short and tee shirt kind of place. This is not to say they are stuffy, in fact the staff is very friendly. Have the Dr Pepper... More

The ambiance was great, but shortly after our food arrived, this horribly loud and obnoxious band started playing. Yes, there is a HOTEL BAR right through the wall of the restaurant. God Awful singing and music destroyed the evening. I told the waitress that the music was horrible. She didn't hear me. Don't let this happen to you! Go elsewhere.... More

We flew over from London to celebrate my wife's Birthday and were not disappointed. Our last visit here was disappointing two years ago , but since then a new Executive Chef Bruno Davaillon has made this a truly great Restaurant and it was a pleasure to try a Tasting Menu, consisting of Six Courses, absolutely outstanding. I decided to try... More

I went on a work dinner to The Mansion recently. The setting was beautiful and grand, the decor and service was fantastic. The food portion, for Texas, were on the smaller side in my opinion. The wine list was extensive. The AC was cranked up so I was thankful I had a jacket.

We decided to splurge here for a special anniversary dinner. We arrived on time for our reservation but we had to wait in the lobby to be seated because the staff was having a 'meeting'. The food was wonderful but you can get great food a lot of places with better service. While explaining the dinner menu, our waitress noticed... More

Pros: beautiful space, good food Cons: staff that hurries you, automatic 18% tip, expensive food, and mandatory valet parking (even though you can walk about 8 feet from the parking lot to the restaurant). Verdict: it was pretty but I don't think I would go back.

Celebrated two birthdays at The Mansion. The food was wonderful, but the service was outstanding. Our server Susan was very warm and welcoming; she did a superb job of explaining the menu and suggesting items that we enjoyed very much. The rest of the service team was very professional and unobtrusive. The desserts were out of this world delicious. The... More
