We know this is a first class venue in Dallas so we decided to give it a try. We dine in the bar. It's a classic dark comfortable quiet bar. The service was excellence. The bar menu is limited to a few very delicious alternatives. Just a great experience for us. Would definitely return if we are in Dallas.

I've always enjoyed eating at the Mansion, but it's been a long time since I've been back for anything other than brunch. This was the first dinner I've had there post-Fearing, and I loved the dishes we had. We were brought a pleasant amuse bouche of curried cauliflower soup. It wasn't special, but it was nice. The bread service had... More

Daniel was the bartender on our visit to the bar. We had so much fun with him. A great personality and great martini's to boot. Thanks Daniel for an awesome experience.

Everything from the service, to the valet, to the food is fabulous here. If you're looking for a five star dining experience in Dallas, this is the place to go. It's very expensive, but also some of the best food you'll ever have in Dallas. Six of us ate here and everyone was very pleased with everything we ordered. The... More

After a 30 minute delay for our table booked for 1pm we were seated at a superb round table in the veranda room of the restaurant. Table service was quite simply faultless and provided by the most charming staff (Server Ray). Chef had prepared a stunning menu with six choices of Appetiser and of Entree. Our party ordered a variety... More

My wife and I were staying at the hotel and wanted an easy, fine meal together, but the restaurant was a disappointment. The setting is elegant, but the music from the bar was loud and not in keeping with the setting. Some courses were great (potato gnocchi) but others were flat (scallops). Breads were chewy. Wine pairings didn't compliment, with... More

Twenty years have passed since my wife and I spent our wedding night at The Mansion. We came back for our 4th stay to celebrate our twenty years of marriage. If you have never visited and stayed the night, you have missed one of the most wonderful experiences one can imagine. Starting with the valet parking and cordial reception at... More

Went to the Thanksgiving Day game and stopped here for Thanksgiving Dinner afterward. This is a no-brainer and worth every penny.

We had a business meal here in a chilly evening in Dallas. I wasn't entirely sure what to make of the restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised by the attentive service, and the table we had beside the fire but was surprised by the bar being so close with a band that was beating out a whole load of cover...
