We do try and make it to the original campisis whenever we are close to dallas. I had pizza, the crust is delish. Other had manicotti with meatball. The salad with the olive topping is yummy too. Full bar was accommodating for a piña colada with vodka

I have been going here since 1986 when I arrived in town for college. Mockingbird will remain an icon of my youth. Love me some pepperoni pizza from other places, but from here, it is salami and Italian sausage! TO DIE FOR! I now frequent the Lover's Lane location more often for take out, but still adore going back to... More

My daughters and I have made this restaurant a stop on our Dallas trips for the last ten years. We always order the same thing: the chopped salad and the medium pizza of whichever flavor we are in the mood for. We have tried the manicotti too, which was yummy. The reason we continue to order the pizza is the... More

Use to eat there in the 60's which was excellent then, even better now. Rumor is connected to the mafia and sports betting, probably all true. The daughter of Mr. Campisi runs one of the dining rooms herself. She does a great job, doesn't miss a beat. She suggested a wine (similar to Asti Spumante - only better) which was... More

I didn't have a lot of vegetarian venue choices while visiting in Dallas, so of course I look for Italian. This place was suggested by our hotel concierge. Did not disappoint. I had the vegetarian combination. The salad was excellent. The dish was great. Only one had one small hiccup. The combination included cheese ravioli. There were only three small... More

We found this place on google and its a little gem. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was great, we came back for a 2nd visit as we were passing a few days later. The prices are pretty good too. Lastly our drinks never got half way down as they were always being topped up.

Very old school (if you want trendy or innovative go somewhere else)- a trip back to Dallas of the last century- but these people know how to cook. The place is fairly dark and the decor is dated-but that is part of the time-travel. The staff is very friendly and it feels like the family owned and operated business that... More

This is the first Cmpisi in Dallas. Classes Italian that is great. Family owned and operated. You have to try the marinated crab claws. They are the best I have ever had.

I'm really not sure if this is the one that delivered to our hotel but it was soooo yumm. I would eat there again! The only thing is that it didnt show small pizza on the menu on my phone. But that was my fault for not asking. SO DELICIOUS!!!!
