Still great pizza after all these years - especially since most places serve those deep-dish dough-bombs & Campisi's trademark pizza is ultra thin crust. Hey, this place was a dump in 1969 and it's no different today - you go for good pizza and if you've got some years under your belt - you're in... read more

"The Egyptian Restaurant" was pretty much the progenitor of pizza in Dallas. have often enjoyed their home delivery pizza. Tuesday night Spaghetti Dinner Special for $8 is a true family favorite!

This restaurant and family have a very interesting history. But most importantly the pizza has been the best in Dallas forever.

Pizza used to be over the top good. Last night it tasted no better than a frozen pizza from the grocery store. Was it prepared in advance and taken from the freezer and popped into the oven? That's exactly what it tasted like. very disappointing.

Have dined here numerous times and it is always dependable and a good value. It's a bit like stepping back in time when you first walk in. Booths with juke boxes line the walls. The main dining room is a bit larger and not quite as dim. The food is delicious and generous. Will dine here while in Dallas for... More

This old faithful is old but not what it was! Owned separately from the others and could take some lessons from the younger generation. The service was good but food quality leaves much to be desired. Eggplant Parmesan with 1 piece 1/2" slice of eggplant and no marinara on it with spaghetti???? One eggplant only cost $1.00. Told bread was... More

After visiting the George W. Bush presidential Library at SMU, we asked some friends that live near the area recommended this amazing place that has delicious food and atmosphere. It was about a 7 min drive and once we were there it was a little hard to find a parking space, we were greeted and seated quickly. The waiter took... More

We recently returned to this original Campisi's and remembered why it's been around for so long. The quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere have stayed consistent over the years, and we were quite happy with our late lunch. We had one salad, and three Italian specialties - everything was fresh, tasty, and good bargains. They clearly use... More

We arrived for what the host said was their last buffet . What a shame as it was quite good, both in quality & selections . The service was quick & polite. The brunch was fresh & refilled frequently. Very pleased with our visit & will be back on our next trip to Dallas

The original Egyptian Lounge Restaurant. Wife wanted to go for her birthday after eating at the Lovers Lane location, so we invited friends to go with us. Food was good, service was below what I would consider average. I ask to see a wine list and never did get to see it before the waitress showed up to take our... More
