Worth the wait!

Every time I visit Dallas, I have to eat here. We have been visiting this place for decades! There is always a wait despite having expanded many years ago. Their pizza is unique and Salami happens to be the favorite of my parents. I LOVE the appetizer crab claws! They are sautéed in a garlic butter... read more

We eat their pizzas often at group lunches. They deliver to our offices in the Galleria area and they are always a hit. I like all the different toppings you can add. Better than any chain pizza for sure.

This place has been on our radar since the 60s. The pizza is still our Dallas favorite at the mockinbird location. A fun place enjoyed by 3 couples March 2015. Crab claws smaller than years back.

Rumored mob connections and news accounts placing Jack Ruby sitting at a booth the eve of the JFK assassination are reason enough to visit this place! Originally the Egyptian lounge when the Campisi's moved in. They couldn't afford a new sign so they took the lounge part down because they didn't want to turn off families. After you walk in... Located near SMU. Food very southern Italian. Great pasta and pizza. Family owned and operated. Sunday buffet. Parking can be difficult.

This is the kind of pizza you don't share, make them get their own man!! A large is really more of an individual size pizza. The crust is thin and the toppings flavorful....quality and always prepared well. Makes all other pizza just seem half baked.

My husband and I ate here for lunch. We split a pizza. Not sure what all of the rave reviews are about because this pizza was not good. It wasn't horrible but as a self proclaimed pizza connoisseur, this fell flat...big time. Delivery chain pizza's are more worth your taste buds! Bottom line: don't go.

When we lived in Dallas, Campisi's was one of our Top 5 favorite restaurants. The pizza and pasta are wonderful and the ambience is old time New York Italian. This restaurant is legendary in Dallas, so you should check it out.

Surprisingly, I really enjoyed this restaurant. The thin crust pizza was really good with great consistency in the crust, meaning it wasn't floppy but didn't make you feel you were eating off a cracker. The tomato sauce was not overpowering and the pepperoni had a great flavor to them. We visited Campisi's with a large group (20+) and the service... More
