of all the veggie burgers i've tasted, none have ever come close to houston's. every time, it is unbelievably delicious. so while houston's resembles a steakhouse, if you're a veg or want to bring someone who is, go ahead -- you/they won't be remotely disappointed. more

Yes, Houston's is a chain, but it is one of the best restaurants in Dallas. I love the cave-like atmosphere, the big comfy booths and the bar. You MUST get the spinach-artichoke dip. Stopped in for a late lunch last week. Had a great burger and french fries. One small complaint--we were part of a party of eight, and were wedged so tightly that my wife, who is agile but who got the seat nearest the wall, had difficulty getting in and out of her chair. more
