Good food, excellent service

Visited Dallas last year for a friend's wedding, and to catch up with my high school friends. A friend of mine took me to Rafain when she heard I've never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse before. I gotta say they did not disappoint. They have a nice self-service salad and dessert bar, and an... read more

Brazilian Steakhouses are fundamentally a Golden Corral with a white table cloth and big knives. Sure, sure there are probably some good ones out there. But the design is the same. Stuff diners at the over done salad bar, overwhelm the senses with hand carved meat and attempt to sell as much alcohol as humanly possible while the diner is... More

We've been to all three churrascarias in the area (Fogo di Chao and Texas do Brasil being the other two), and by far this one is the best. Best variety of meats, excellent service, and unlike the others, Rafain offers a dessert menu included in the price. Upscale but casual (business casual attire ok), and as the others a bit... More

Had a couple gift certificates to this place which is why I decided to take my parents for Mom's 71st birthday. Let's start with the fact that dinner for 4, with 1 bottle of wine ($100) was almost $500. FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS. I would have been disappointed with my choice had it been half that, but for the life I... More

We had eaten at the Fort Worth location several weeks ago and really enjoyed it because of the quality of the food and the impeccable service, so we suggested the Dallas location for a company Christmas party. We were embarrassed! First, the meats were cooked way too much. They were well done and some were dry. The salad bar was... More

As always, good service and good food. The only negative I saw, some of the customers' attires were not appropriate; sweat pant, with matching hoodie sweater, and sneakers or flip flop or t-shirts, do not go in this type of restaurant. This restaurant is located in a nice area of North Dallas. Hope Manager manages that a little better!

It is true that other places have larger salad bars, this one has all you need, the Beef Strogonofff had a taste of Rio de Janeiro, simply delicious. The black beans (Feijao) was not too good but all the rest, namely all the meat cuts. They were perfect, tasty, fresh, super tender, hot. service was outstanding. The dessert bar is... More

I loved this place for the meat, they come around and just cut off chunks for you. The garlic beef was amazing, it all just melts in your mouth. The beer they brought (dark ale), which I forget the name of, that complimented the meat well. The deserts, ewwww, don't do it! Maybe they were an American thing, but I... More

I wanted to like this place. It's close to home. I had been to Fogo De Chao and Texas de Brazil, both in Addison TX and thought ...hey this place will be at least on par. Wrong, wrong and wrong again. The salad bar was mediocre in comparison to the aforementioned. The meats were overcooked. The cuts of meat were... More

We've been to all of the major ones in town, and by far this one's the best. The quality of the food and the service are top-notch, and unlike the others, Rafain includes a dessert buffet on the dinner price. Fantastic ambience and decor create the perfect spot for a date. TIP: the place has a valet place so you... More
